Twin Flames — The Divine Union

I am sure many of you have read my previous article on "Twin Flame & Soul Mate... The Difference," but if you have not yet, please do. This article is literally to shed more light on twin flames and their purpose in each other’s lives. Not many know about the concept of twin flames, as many are used to hearing about soul-mates. With soul-mates, you have many; anyone, from your mother to your brother, sister, or friend could be your soul-mate. We have a soul tribe. And often times, the relationships we've had in the past are karmic relationships. A karmic relationship is a romantic bond that is formed with someone in your soul group and it's a relationship designed to heal past life lessons and pain. Karmic relationships are the type of soul-mate relationships that no one wants, but everyone has.

You only have one twin flame. And Biblically, Genesis 2:23 says that we do have a twin flame, it just depends on how you see it. There is someone designed for us as we truly created in pairs.

Twin flame, also known as twin souls, is a person who you are destined to feel connected to on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. Your twin flame represents your friend, lover and teacher in this life. They are the catalyst of your spiritual growth and the mirror of your deepest desires, needs and fears. Your twin flame will reflect back to you all of your inner shadows, but also your deepest beauty and greatest strengths. They are your mirror.

Twin flames are here with very specific plans as souls. Purpose meets purpose, I am sure you know the saying, but truly this union is exactly that. You have a journey to fulfil together, from healing, uplifting others spreading your light to others and more. It is said that twin souls are always connected by a heart cord that enables them to never lose touch of each other. However, this connection is felt upon their first meeting. Once your twin flame has made their presence known in your life, whether you know they are your flame or not, they will forever be in your life.

The minute your twin flame enters your life, and makes their presence known, you just know who they are to you. You enter a new phase—journey of your life. They usually show up just at the right time, right moment in your life. Needless to say, time is an illusion. They show up at an appointed time, where you possibly were not looking for a relationship, or you have just entered a new personal phase in your life, or maybe, they show you up when you need that soul awakening sort of help. Whatever it may be, this person shows up with unbelievable wisdom that you have been needing. Their wisdom fills you and sends you on a deeper level of soul search.

You do not fall blindly in love with your twin soul. Let's be real, to fall for something is to take a risk, to fall for someone means they have to catch you and when they don't, you fell aimlessly. However, with your twin flame you walk into love with them. You do not have to force the love, or even try to make sense of it. For the first time, your heart feels and knows this love is different. Your heart knows something that your mind cannot articulate. Walking into love, and loving this person will be so easy. No joke, it will be so easy, you will just have to wonder. Being in love is the most natural substance of this union.

You and your flame help each other undergo soul-work in order to become the best versions of yourself possible. You probably would have started the self betterment journey prior to meeting them, but the journey you go through with them, is more intense. The real intentions of the Twin Flame connection is to expose all the baggage that you have carried, consciously and unconsciously. The baggage that has kept you from becoming who you are meant to be. They are your mirror; through them you see your strengths as well as your weakness, you see the parts of you that you might not have known that still needs healing. They are your imperfect perfect mirror.

Twin flame union enables you to uncover all the layers, the surface level exterior you have built to survive. They help uncover these layers with their wisdom, even just by being there in your life, as they are your imperfect perfect mirror. You begin to see your inner beauty, your strengths but also your weaknesses and through them you start to unpack the layers and work through them. Many times the survival instincts you have built, only serves you for a while, a limited time. But once you begin to grow, use your subconscious, you realise that you need to let go of the survival instincts to enter your new level of consciousness. You no longer need to feel safe or as if you are always in survival mode. You feel awakened.

This union is amazing, beyond amazing despite some of the notions behind it. This is a divine union. When you both get together, it is for acceleration in both your lives, personal development, careers, projects, passions, etc. You both seem to excel even more within those areas. Purpose meets purpose. Through this union a huge birthing of creative energy is released, to be used for their mission together on earth. It is more intense than any other union, and this intensity is on a soul—spiritual level.

When twins reunite, both of them experience an acceleration of their spiritual growth and awakening. When you meet your twin flame, you know it, it is a different yet familiar feeling. This is because you recognise each other souls, vibrations and frequencies. You get to witness the intense acceptance of who you are through the images of them. They mirror you in ways you could never imagine. You both fulfil each other in the areas that have been asleep. Your flame “sees” your essence, they know your potentials. A twin flame relationship is defined by true acknowledgement of the heart and soul.

You and your twin flame become a supreme team of love, giving empathy and compassion to each other. The foundation of this union is love but also purpose meets purpose. The love you and your flame have for each other is contagious, others can see how you compliment one another so effortlessly yet so powerful. Others can see the light you both shine with. You both are the epitome of true unconditional love. You have both worked through heartaches, learnt from your experiences during the times of not being together, fear is no longer a valuable product in this union. You are both authentically you, unapologetically. You accept one another just how you are. It is a soul — spiritual connection. You both become one in rhythm. It’s in the process of letting go that the heart recognizes why you need one another. You are here to make a difference in your lives.
