Timini and Kanaga Jr Get Emotional Talking about Their Brotherhood

"Can I get tissue please?"

By Jide OkonjoPublished 4 months ago 3 min read

Life is so interesting. Apart from our siblings, we're all born to different parents, and sometimes in life, you find other people who are not your siblings who become as close to you as a brother or sister. Very often, we see expressions of affection and sisterhood especially in the public eye between women, but today, actors Timini Egbuson and Kanaga Jr showed us that men too can express their feelings to each other, and celebrate each other in a nice show of brotherhood.

During a new interview with Nollywire, both Timini Egbuson and Kanaga Jr spoke about each other, and each time one spoke, the other got emotional about the words that were being said. Here's what they said, and the video if you want to watch it yourself.

Speaking first about Timini, Kanaga Jr said:

KANAGA JR: I've been a very huge fan of Timini for years. And you know, we met for the very first time at AFRIFF in 2021 and the next morning, I woke up to a follow and I was super super excited, and then we met. And I've worked for Timini before, and it's been a very very good relationship so far. This is someone I look up to and this is someone I would always go to for advice, or anything. He's my big bro, for life.

Timini responding to Kanaga Jr said:

TIMINI EGBUSON: [dramatizes crying] Can I get tissue please? [laughs] Yeah, like he said, Kanaga is my bro. I met him, I saw him, I saw that he was a star. This was way before Big Brother, way before he got any acting opportunities, and I wanted him to be closer to me. And then, based off of that, we developed a relationship and I'm really so proud of you my bro. I probably haven't told you like in front of the cameras and all of that, but I'm really really proud of you. You didn't let me down and I'm so happy to see what the future has for you.

Here's the video in case you want to watch it yourself:
