You know how sometimes you read a story or you hear a story, and you cannot even believe what you're hearing because of how evil and heinous the story is? Today's story is one of such stories.

Earlier this week, news broke that a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt had sentenced a pastor of a new generation church, Pastor Chidiebere Okoroafor, to death by hanging. Being sentenced to death is the capital punishment, and is reserved only for people who commit very heinous crimes. So what dd Pastor Okoroafor do you ask? Well, let me tell you all about it. Without further ado, here is the unbelievably evil case that made a Port Harcourt judge sentence a local pastor to hanging.

What Happened?

Pastor Chidiebere Okoroafor was the pastor of a new generation church called Altar of Solution and Healing Assembly in Oyigbo, Rivers State. During his time there as pastor, unbeknownst to his congregation, Okoroafor was also having sexual relations with his 25 year old choir mistress, a woman named Concilia Ezenwa.

All was going well until Concilia during the course of their relations got pregnant. Okoroafor wanted Concilia to get an abortion, but Concilia was intent on keeping her pregnancy. Okoroafor was not having this.

So in order to get rid of the problem he saw with Concilia and their unborn baby, Okoroafor allegedly lured Concilia and her friend, Uluoma Onweagba into an uncompleted building in a farm in Afam Axis of Oyigbo. They had come under the impression that Okoroafor wanted to discuss what would be done with the baby. Uluoma brought a child with her, an 11 month old by the name of Joseph Ezenwa who she carried on her back.

Things quickly got deadly in that uncompleted building.

He strangled Concilia till she died, also strangled Uluoma who had Joseph on her back till she too died. As Uluoma's body fell to the ground, Joseph who was on her back fell too and because of the impact of Uluoma's body as well as the impact made with the ground, Joseph's skull broke leading to death.

In one fell swoop, Okoroafor killed not one, not two, but three people that day all in the bid to get rid of one pregnancy he did not want.

In his judgement, the president justice, S.O. Benson ordered that Okoroafor be killed by hanging him on his neck until he is dead, or by lethal injection. Either way, Okoroafor has now been sentenced to death.

Wow! What kind of evil and sick man is this?! This story still gives me chills because of the sheer wickedness of it. What do you think about this story? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment either below or on my Jide Okonjo Facebook post.
