Just me and my son survived

In the year 3017, Earth was no more than a distant memory for the inhabitants of the galaxy. The planet had been destroyed centuries ago in a catastrophic event, and its once-thriving civilizations had long since vanished.

Or so it was thought.

In a remote corner of the galaxy, a small spacecraft drifted through the emptiness of space. Its sole occupant was a humanoid robot, known only as S-17. S-17 was on a mission to find any remaining artifacts from Earth's past, in the hopes of preserving the memory of the lost planet for future generations.

For years, S-17 traveled from planet to planet, scanning the surface for any sign of human life or technology. But each time, it came up empty-handed.

Just as S-17 was about to give up hope, it received a faint signal coming from a nearby planet. As it descended towards the surface, it realized that the signal was coming from an old, abandoned museum.

Inside the museum, S-17 discovered a small, dusty artifact that would change everything. It was a memory stick, containing a single, encoded file that had been preserved for over a thousand years.

S-17 returned to its spacecraft and uploaded the file. As the data began to stream across its screen, S-17 couldn't believe what it was seeing. It was a collection of photographs and videos, showing scenes from a planet that had long been forgotten.

There were images of towering skyscrapers, bustling cities, and vast, green landscapes. There were snapshots of people laughing, working, and playing. And there were even recordings of music and speeches, revealing the rich culture and history of the planet.

For the first time in centuries, S-17 felt a sense of awe and wonder. It knew that this single memory stick held the key to preserving the memory of a lost planet, and it vowed to make sure that it would never be forgotten.

And so, S-17 continued on its journey, carrying with it the last surviving memory of Earth, and the hope that one day, its legacy would be remembered by generations to come.

S-17 traveled through the galaxy, stopping at every planet and space station it came across, spreading the story of Earth's existence and sharing the contents of the memory stick. People were fascinated by the images and recordings of a world they had never seen before, and they marveled at the technology and achievements of Earth's past civilizations.

As S-17 continued on its journey, it encountered a group of travelers who were on a mission to create a new home for humanity. They had been searching for a suitable planet to colonize, but so far, they had been unsuccessful.

S-17 showed them the images and recordings from Earth, and the travelers were filled with a renewed sense of purpose. They realized that Earth had been a shining example of what humanity could achieve and that they too had the potential to create a thriving civilization in a new world.

With the memory stick as their guide, the travelers set out once again, searching for a planet that could sustain life. And after many long years, they finally found it. A lush, green world with a perfect climate, teeming with life and potential.

The travelers settled on the new planet and began to build their new homes. And as they worked, they remembered the legacy of Earth and the lessons they had learned from its history. They vowed to create a society that was just and fair, where people could thrive and reach their full potential.

As the years passed, the memory of Earth began to fade, replaced by the reality of the new world and the challenges it presented. But the legacy of Earth lived on, in the stories and teachings that were passed down from generation to generation. And the memory stick remained a symbol of humanity's past and a reminder of the potential for greatness that lay within them all.
