The Difference Between Saying and Loving
It's easy to say I love you. But, do you really mean it?

Looking for love in all the wrong places. Everyone has done it before. Some put on a front, claiming that they are in love. The reason? I’m glad you asked.
Everybody wants to be loved. This is a known fact. But some people go about it the wrong way. There is a saying called love at first sight. That’s as real as the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus and since those 2 aren’t real, let’s move on. You don’t fall in love with a person just by seeing them the first time. You know why? You don’t know anything about the person. You fall in love with looks and that’s a big downfall. People look at a person and say, “I’m gonna marry him/her someday.” But then they end up with a completely different person.
Some people claim they fell in love with the wrong person. I’m gonna break this down like an equation. When you met that person, you loved them with everything you had. They were you world, could do wrong. But along the way, they did something that made you so mad, it made you say that you fell in love with the wrong person. I think that sums it up.
Then, there are the people who “love” everybody. When you get in a relationship, you can’t say I love you to everyone you are with. If you say I love you to everyone you are with, that’s not love. You are saying that because you are hoping someone will say it back just as quick as you do. But, to be honest, that’s a turn off to many people because when you are trying to get to know each other, I love you is not the first thing you say to somebody.
Then you have the I love him/her but….? Well, if you love him/her, there is not a but or a maybe. Nothing in between. You love him/her and that’s it. Everyone has flaws. You can’t have a but clause in the situation because wherever that but is, you need to address it right away to either fix it or go your separate ways.
Then, you have the I love him/her and there is nobody else. If there is nobody else, why do you have to announce it? If you and that other person are together so if there is nobody else, no announcement is needed.
These people have that back pocket person as I call it. When the relationship begins to go South, watch how quick their attitude changes. This lets you know that back pocket person was there the whole time. The faithful person just doesn’t know it and when they find it, it’s like they have been stabbed in the heart. Why? Because there was nobody else.
Let’s talk about the back pocket person. This is the back-up plan. This is the in-case things don’t work out person. This is also this person that is lined up so that person doesn’t have to worry about being alone. It’s not fair to that person because they have false hope. They keep hoping, waiting and sometimes wishing that the relationship will end so that they can have that person.
Sometimes, that person gets their wish. The fling overtakes a committed relationship. A person leaves someone who loves and cares about them for someone that’s not even worth it. This person is a trophy on a shelf; the other person was a prize.
To end my story, I say this: Love is real and it’s a beautiful thing. Don’t be in a rush to put on those rings. (marriage).
