friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
"Unseen Connections: The Story of Meera and Kabir"
Two strangers, Meera and Kabir, bumped into each other by chance. It was a cold winter morning and the park in this busy city was where they both set in to spend some time alone on the benches, each musing over her book or enjoying her cup of coffee while watching the world move at such speed. He looked for a quiet spot to sit and read. She was sitting next to the window of a densely packed bus, eyeing the empty seat next to her when he asked if he could sit down beside her; she nodded with a polite smile. They spent that day barely exchanging more than a few words, yet something unspoken brought them together.

To Tektal and Fellow Creators!. Top Story - November 2024.
To Tektal and many others, It may seem strange to address a letter of gratitude to someone, like yourself, Tektal, who until September 2023, did not exist. As merely an extraterrestrial figment of my imagination, you provided me with one of the most important moments of my writing career—an actual bona fide win in Vocal's Extraterrestrial Challenge.

The Tough Guy Image: What’s the Cost?
Are you a girl? Why are you upset? Boys are expected to be strong and lead their families without showing emotion. Harmony in the Cacophony
Dear Jen When my parents decided to pull up roots and hastily replant them in Sterling City, I lost my already tenuous grasp on life, becoming an anchorless vessel tossed violently at sea. The reality of moving did not take hold in my teenage mind because I was conditioned to put on a brave face when challenged with uncertainty. I remember talking to those around us before the move. My friends at school cried and wrote their phone numbers on lined notebook paper hastily torn from their school binders. My neighbors lamented that their best babysitter would now be seventy-five miles away. At church, one of the kind ladies I sang with in the choir told me she was praying for me to find one special friend at my new school.
