The Obstacles of Dating While Chronically Ill
Seven years ago, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and unfortunately have become sicker over the years. Even though I spend the majority of my time too sick to leave the house, I’m still like any regular 23-year-old that yearns for a healthy dating life.

Love Without Limit: A Discussion on Mono vs Poly
Can we have a serious conversation about diversity and relationships? I mean there are so many people that just assume that monogamous marriage should be the standard for all people; the perfect and ultimate goal, but so many of us cheat and so many people marry then divorce and remarry again. So many people have multiple partners throughout their lives and even at the same time. It leads one to believe that monogamous marriage is not necessarily so overwhelming natural and perfect as often assumed.

'What Do You Want to Do This Weekend?' A Love Story
We've all heard the age-old adage: opposites attract. This might be true if your life is a Hollywood movie complete with cheesy tropes and witty one-liners. However, anyone who has actually tried dating in the real world will tell you that commonalities make for much more interesting conversations. Things like shared interested, similar political affiliations, religious ideology, and the same sense of humor often lead to much more fulfilling and less contentious relationships. That being said, too much similarity can also have its frustrations.

It Wasn't the Worst Date in the World
I probably should have told him I didn’t have a license before I agreed to pick up the rental car. Luckily, the guy behind the counter was not a stickler for details. My heart was racing as I pulled out of the parking space, but I didn’t have much room for error. The drive from Hertz was uneventful, but when I tried to park by the dock, there were no spaces, so I had to go park by the community college. I ran over something, but I don’t think anybody noticed.

Signs You're in an Emotionally Abusive Relationship
I would like to give some background about myself before I start this. I was in an emotionally abusive relationship for nine months. He would constantly try to control me, and when I was in the psychiatric unit, he would leave messages on my phone saying that if I didn't respond, he said that that would be the same as breaking up with him. He seemed like such a nice guy. It was months after he left me for me to realize that he was emotionally abusing me for almost the entire time I was with him. They are harmless, charming, sweet, and trustworthy, but that's not always the case. Here are some signs that you may be in one, too.

Longest Long Distance Relationship
Communication is key! This long journey of a relationship begins with two people meeting by chance on an app. Some would say it’s fate, a match made in heaven or even just plain lucky. We are in a day and age where it is more and more common to meet people online and use apps like Tinder and OKCupid where we can “fall in love.” A lot of these relationships are just hook ups or fail easily after a short amount of time. But some are just “meant to be” and have a happy ending. So is this relationship fate or just pure luck? Could it be another happy ending?

Why Long Distance Relationships Are so Worth It
It’s so easy to say that you’ll love someone through thick and through thin, together or apart, but the truth is that humans are fickle creatures. We’re constantly evolving, alway on the move and changing ourselves. Finding a type of music or food that we love and would never give up is one thing, but an entire person? In a world where we’re never content with ourselves, how can we expect to find another human being that we’d be content to spend the rest of our lives? Almost half of all marriages end in divorce, and the chances of long distance relationships surviving are even slimmer.
