Why I Left Oil & Gas - Actor, Daniel Etim Effiong
For a lot of Nigerian creatives working today, it is no surprise that the work they're doing in the creative field is not what they went to school for. As most Nigerians know, when you go to school, you are highly encouraged to pick courses that are deemed 'practical', like medicine, business, or anything that can get you a good job immediately you come out of school. One such course is engineering, and one of the most sought after industries to work in Nigeria, is the oil & gas industry as it is said to make a lot of money.

The Legendary Journey of Carl Edwards
Presentation: In the core of Nashville, Tennessee, a city known for its dynamic music scene, another part in motorsport history was going to be composed. Nashville Superspeedway, a cutting edge hustling office, had as of late opened its entryways, enrapturing fans with the excitement of fast dashing. To commend the track's debut year, the administration tried to respect a NASCAR legend who had made a permanent imprint on the game. It was, in all honesty, the resigned hustling sensation, Carl Edwards, who was picked as the very first honoree of the Nashville Superspeedway Legends Square.

I meet Mr Beast.
As I walked down the bustling streets of my city, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. Rumors had been circulating that Mr Beast, the famous YouTuber known for his outrageous videos and acts of generosity, was in town. People were abuzz with excitement, sharing stories of his incredible acts of kindness and the impact he had made on countless lives. Little did I know that my own life was about to take an unexpected turn. As I made my way through the crowd, I noticed a commotion up ahead. Curiosity piqued, I quickened my pace, weaving through the sea of people until I reached the source of the excitement. There, surrounded by a throng of fans, was Mr Beast himself, his unmistakable grin lighting up his face. My heart raced with a mix of nerves and excitement. This was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Summoning my courage, I approached him, hoping for just a moment of his time. To my surprise, he turned towards me and greeted me warmly. "Hey there! What's your name?" he asked, his voice as friendly as it sounded in his videos. Stuttering slightly, I introduced myself. "I'm Sarah. I've been a fan of yours for a long time. Your videos have inspired me to make a difference in the world." Mr Beast smiled kindly and nodded. "That's amazing to hear, Sarah. It's always great to meet fans who share the same passion for helping others. What can I do for you today?" Embarrassed but determined, I gathered my thoughts and explained that I had a dream of starting a community center in my neighborhood, a place where children could gather, learn, and have access to resources they may not otherwise have. However, I lacked the necessary funds to bring my vision to life. Mr Beast listened intently, his eyes filled with genuine interest. After a moment of contemplation, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small notebook and pen. "Sarah, I want to help you make your dream come true. Let's talk more about your community center and figure out how we can make it happen." Over the next few weeks, Mr Beast and I collaborated on a plan to turn my dream into a reality. He used his platform to raise awareness about the project, engaging his millions of followers in the process. Together, we brainstormed ideas, sought advice from experts, and reached out to potential sponsors. The response was overwhelming. People from all corners of the globe were touched by our cause and rallied behind us. Donations poured in, both big and small, as the power of collective generosity manifested itself. With the funds we had raised, construction on the community center began. It quickly took shape, becoming a vibrant hub of activity. The children in our neighborhood were ecstatic, and the impact was immediate. They now had a safe and nurturing environment where they could learn, play, and explore their passions. Months later, on the day of the community center's grand opening, Mr Beast arrived to join in the celebration. His presence electrified the atmosphere as he mingled with the children, their smiles reflecting the hope and joy he had brought into their lives. As the day drew to a close, Mr Beast took me aside, a twinkle in his eye. "Sarah, seeing the impact we've made here today fills my heart with immense joy. But remember, this is just the beginning. Together, we can continue to make a difference, one act of kindness at a time." Those words resonated deep within me, igniting a fire to do even more. Inspired by Mr Beast's unwavering dedication, I vowed to carry on his legacy, spreading kindness and generosity in my own unique way.
