Something priceless? If you search for it, you will find the treasure

Something priceless?

By NawasPublished 9 months ago 3 min read

In a village there was a young fellow named Martin. His dad is a money manager. He had a mother and a more youthful sister. Martin was slithering like a tremendous sloth. On one occasion he and his dad had a battle. He sent him out of the house since he was dependably sluggish and never accomplished any work.

He also left there in anger and started walking. He felt tired in no time, He saw an old well as far as the eye could see, He sat under it and got a little tired. Then he remembered his father scolding him. He was tired of thinking about it. Suddenly a voice was heard from the well. He was shocked and asked who it was.

The angel came out of the well. She asks why are you sad. He took the fight and said that he asked his father for money as an investment to start a business. Understood angel I will give you a treasure, but not now. You must bring me a gold coin every day. Then she said I will give you that precious thing.

He also left in excitement as he was going to find the treasure. But he was jumping and forgetting that he had never done any work before. If he asked his father for money, he would scold him, so he bought a gold coin from his mother and went to the well at sunset. He called the angel. The angel who received the gold coin threw it into the well.

He was not worried about that and left there thinking that we are going to get a big treasure. His mother also made it a habit to give him a gold coin every few days. Realizing that the gold coins they had were running out, the mother stopped giving them to him. Thinking that he has no money to pay today, he remembered his sister.

He cheated her and begged her to give her gold coins for a few days. The goddess threw the bought gold coins into the well. A few days passed like this. Martin's younger sister refused saying why we should give him the gold coins. He was confused that he had no money to give to the goddess today.

Well, he decided to go to work and wandered around looking for work. One way he got a job on a farm. He plowed the land there. He fed the cows and took a bath, something he had never done before, He was paid a gold coin, He gave it to the angel. She also threw it into the well. Martin was a little worried. However, he got ready for work the next day for the sake of treasure.

He worked even more in that farm today. He worked without eating. So got 3 gold coins that day. He gave one gold coin to the goddess and 2 gold coins to mother. At home, he ate a lot.

He went to work early the next day. He climbed the mountains and went to collect honey. This time his labor was even harder. He also had injuries on his hands. He took the 5 gold coins he got and gave it to the angel. She picked up a gold coin and threw it into the well.

Martin did not like this action. How hard I have been earning these gold coins. You throw it easily into the well. I don't want your treasure. I will work on it and take care of it,” He said angrily

Angel, don't you want your precious thing? She said. Martin replied angrily, "You are putting my hard-earned income into the well like this, and the treasure you are giving is going to be bigger than this." The angel interrupted, yes, I am saying the same, your labor is priceless, your labor will earn you many times more gold coins than this. He also realized the truth and said I will not be lazy after this.

The angel gave a box full of gold coins. Martin refused to buy it. Then goddess, these are the gold coins you gave. It's yours, trade it. She said you must have understood that it is not easy to earn money now. He said yes and left for home.

Martin's father hugs him and says you have proved yourself to be the best. They continued their lives happily.
