Signs Your Partner Is Cheating on You

Cheating—it seems like a teenager problem these days, but is it? A study done recently, talks about how about 65 percent of men cheat and 45 percent of women have cheated at least once in their relationship. Sometimes though, the signs are not always clear with social media and MAJOR trust issues these days it can be hard to differentiate between your own self-esteem issues and if they are actually cheating on you.

Here are some clear signs that could mean your partner is cheating on you. Now remember not every person is the same so your partner could be a really good liar or a very bad liar, so even if they a a good liar, you may still be able to pick on some subtle hints.

1. Hiding His/Her Phone—If he or she is hiding their phone, they are hiding something in there. Now if he or she is just a person who also turns their phone face down or always keeps it in their pocket... then this could get tricky... the problem comes in when they are going out of their way to keep their phone from you. Ex: My ex would always tell me no to using his phone, or he'll do some tapping on the screen before letting me use it. Can you say shady? He would also go to the bathroom, but come back out before going when he realizes he left his phone next to me.
2. No More Shopping Together—When they start making up excuses to not go to the store with you, or excuses so their partner doesn't tag along with them, this is a clear sign they're cheating. They don't want to be seen with you in public because they could have lied to the other person and said they were single.
3. Increase Phone Usage—If they are always on their phones now, but doesn't say who he's talking to, or gives a generic answer when you ask, he's up to something on that phone. If they were 100 percent into the relationship, they would not be entertaining anyone else. If whoever they were talking to were only friends, he or she wouldn't have an issue telling you.
4. Defensive—When you ask him or her if they are cheating, they get super angry. Going as far as calling you the crazy one, or you're the cheating one. If there wasn't someone else, they wouldn't be that mad, just frustrated, and insulted you would think that about them. There is a difference.
5. "I Love You" Stops—Were you that couple who said "I love you" every night and or every morning, and now it's stopped? There could be a reason and it could be another person, because they may not want to say something they don't mean.
6. You Have a Gut Feeling—Something seems off with their vibe. It's not the same as it once was. You may have an inclination of another person, but you just can't catch them up in an act, you could be right. Don't they say trust to your intuition for a reason?
7. His/Her Clothes/Skin—If you notice a different perfume, lipstick, or hair on his or her clothes or skin, it's probably because someone else has been rubbing their body against theirs and probably not in a friendly way. Run.

At the end of the day, it is important to be honest with one another. If there are problems to address, get them addressed. If you are bored and just want a way out of the relationship, cheating is not the answer. People don't cheat by accident. Now maybe you're asking if your partner only has one of these signs present, it could be a habit of theirs or they're stressed out lately, but number seven is a most definite sign they are cheating.
