Cathy :“Reset your Passcode, Mandy !”

Mandy: “ I just did and I am still lock Out! This is a nightmare!”

Mandy pulling on her pigtails with frustration.

Cathy: “ How are you going to submit, this story before the deadline?”

Mandy: “ I will figure it out.”

Mandy looking unsure of her situation, just seating in front of her laptop on top of the bed with her legs crisscross.

Cathy seating on the floor next to Mandy’s queen size bed. Looking hopeless as well.

Cathy: “ We cannot seat here all day and do nothing.”

Mandy: “ I know ,let me think.”

Cathy: “ Let’s asked your big brother William for help. He is a computer genius.”

Cathy has a crush on Mandy’s brother . She look for any excused to see and talk to him and this situation is no different.

Cathy : “Do you want me to go get him?”

Mandy: “ No, he is not here. He is out of town with his new girlfriend.”

Cathy started looking very unhappy

Cathy: “ When did William get a girlfriend. Is she nice and pretty.”

Mandy got interrupted before she could answer.

Mrs. Joy: “ Girls ! Do you want to come down and eat an late afternoon snack by the pool. It’s Pizza and wings .”

Mandy’s mom pop her head in the room to see if they were hungry.

Cathy love to eat , but she remain so skinny. Mandy on the other hand gain weight just as easily.

Cathy: “ Let’s go down and eat, I had not eaten pizza in a long time. We might come up with an idea after we eat.”

Mandy thought it was a good idea and got up from the bed heading towards the bedroom door with Cathy behind her.

It was a hot summer day. The Pizza and wings were set next to the in ground pool with glasses of ice cold grape juice.

The girls took off their clothes off and sat down in their bathing suits.

Mandy was wearing a black bathing suit with watermelons on it and Cathy was wearing plain pink bathing suit.

The girls start eating away while Mandy family dog Suzy start begging while they eat.

Mandy: “Don’t give her any food !”

Cathy: “I was not going ,to.”

Mandy: “ The vet said Suzy need to go a diet .”

Cathy: “ I understand , Suzy is really huge for a miniature poodle.”

Mandy “ Exactly.”

Cathy: “ I got an idea . Let go for a quick swim and get back to finding a solution.”

Mandy: “ A swim will calm me down. I hope we can submit, our story to the Challenge today. The new reset passcode got to work.”

Mandy said with a sign and jump in the pool.

Cathy :” This swimming does feel so good. I can swim forever in this heat.”

The girls blasted the radio while they were swimming.

Radio Announcer: “ I can never get enough of this Jam, Harry Style , Watermelon sugar. Today is the last day to submit your Challenge entry , high schoolers. It’s our city biggest summer story challenge yet. The winner get a trip to Paris plus $2,000 shopping spree . Oh la la! 5 pm is the deadline. Good luck to the participants! The girls got out of the pool and dry themselves, put their robe they always have hanging on the pool railing.

Mandy : “ Let’s go deal with this passcode before it’s to late to enter the Challenge.”

Cathy: “ I am keeping my fingers cross, it’s going to work.”

The girls enter Mandy ‘s bedroom and Mandy tried the reset passcode.

Mandy and Cathy started screaming together , while jumping up and down .

Mandy : “ It worked!!!! Yah!!!!!”

Cathy : “ It worked! Aaaaaaaaa!!!
