Just a little thing I wrote about COVID-19 and human greed.

Put your money down. Put your stupid panic bought toilet paper away. You are going to want to hear this. I may not be right. I may not be wrong. But am I right that you are afraid? That you are panicking? This seems like the end times have finally arrived. People are stocking up, viruses spreading like wildfire across the world. Hundreds dying left and right. People have you forgotten something in your span of fright? You are forgetting the elderly. You forgot about those who still work to serve you. There are people who have children who come to Walmart, hospitals, grocery stores, just to make sure that they get a paycheck for themselves to feed their own families.

There are people who cry at home, dealing with you rude people who complain that there isn’t enough of anything you want. There are family members who struggle enough as it is and go to Walmart or a store to see nothing that they need. Are you people aware of the things going on besides the pandemic? Besides the fact that high school seniors won't walk on their graduation? Or even that older generation won't stay home to protect themselves from this. Are you aware that abuse still continues when a virus is lurking around every street corner? Every person with mental illness still suffers while the pandemic spreads.

There are still people who have to stay home with abusive and toxic family members. Some people are below the poverty line, still fighting to afford food. There are some children who wish they could escape to see friends. There are people who are trapped at home maybe with something to do, but they can’t bring themselves to do it so they don’t lose the love for doing it. Some people think this whole pandemic is a joke. It was never a joke, but it’s fun to laugh to brighten the moods. Some people have family members far away from them that are stuck in other countries. Some people also have older loved ones to care for and this pandemic scares them.

WAKE UP! Don’t you see that soon after this ends, we will go right back as if nothing ever happened. We have rivers opening up, animals venturing the cities, mother nature is finally showing herself. Keep in mind, we are the cause of our own destruction. I don’t care if you are black or white, gay or straight, American or Mexican, and the list can go on, but I don't care what income you make. Just do the right thing. Make masks, help the elderly find groceries so they too can survive.

If we don’t work together to keep the virus from becoming our eternal graves, how can we get through some things much worse than a virus? You need to understand that we are using media as a way of knowing everything. One thing you may see as truth and one may be false. Stay off the media and stay home. Stay away from unreliable news sources. Keep yourself safe. Wash your hands and keep clean. Cleanliness is next to godliness. I know this may seem the worst thing to have ever happened, but how can you go on if you buy all the toilet paper, milk, bread, essentials, and so on? Nothing will come from that. So please. Please be aware of the surroundings. The ugly truth will set its teeth on you. Be on guard and protect yourselves and others from being the next victim of this murderous COVID-19. I can’t say what will come from this, but be careful.

One day, you could be in their situation.
