So I've never been in a long-term relationship, but my boyfriend and I are coming to hit our one year mark. When I realized this, I thought to myself, 'What in the world do I get this boy to show him how much I love him?' There's nothing I'd rather do than show him how much I care for him and our past year together. So I did some research, and here's what I found:

1. Personalized Book

This is a gift that will tell your love story over and over again, in writing. You can design your characters however you want, choose your book cover, and personally design each page. It's something that the two of you can show your children; the story of your love.

2. Scents

Do you remember what scent he was wearing on your first date? If you do, go for getting him some of that, with a nice note saying how much you love that scent on him and how it has so many good memories for you. If not, get him one you think he'll like and tell him how many more memories you hope to make with that scent as a bonus.

3. Photo Album

Everyone takes thousands of pictures, it's how we remember the moment. Make a photo album of all the pictures the two of you have taken together, even add a little caption for each photo (maybe the moment it was taken, what you were feeling, or what you feel looking back at it). It's an easy DIY project, great for that beautiful smile on your significant other's face.

4. Something Significant of Your First Date

Everyone's first date is completely different, and showcasing that you appreciate that to your significant other is something they'd really enjoy. Did you go to dinner and a movie? Take him out to the restaurant you first went to, buy him the movie you saw on your date; have the date over again to show him how important it really was to you. It may seem small and insignificant, but he or she will appreciate it because you remembered and you cared.

5. Bond Touch Bracelet

This gift is not for everyone, mainly just for the long-distance relationshippers. It's a bracelet pair, you have one and they have the other, and when you touch it, the other bracelet vibrates. This is just something that would show your significant other that you're thinking about them, even from however many miles away you both are from each other.

6. Personalized Picture Frame

This is another quick and easy DIY project. All you have to do is buy a picture frame, decorate it how they would like, add the picture of your choice, and TA-DA! It's something so simple and could make anyone's day. To add a little something extra, write a letter to your significant other on the back; they'll stumble across it randomly and it'll be a brand new gift for them on a new day.

7. His and Hers Key Chains

Maybe this isn't a one year relationship gift, but depending on how serious the two of you are, it could be. This would be a personalized gift for the two of you, and it'd be something that would stay with both of you all the time, on your key ring. Add your date for added love.

8. Engraved Pocket Knife

My boyfriend loves pocket knives, he always has one with him, so getting him one would be a genius idea. Engrave the side of it with something the two of you would know, love and appreciate.

9. Personalized Photo Cube

This gift would be a beautiful decoration in the house. It's a wooden cube, engravings on each side, with a photo on each side. Some boxes even store things inside, so you could get your significant other this, and add more to it inside the box as a double gift.

10. Engraved Wallet

This is a simple gift, one that I would only go to as a last resort. You can buy him a nice leather wallet, get his and your initials engraved. He'll always have it with him, as a constant reminder of your love for him and your supportive presence in his life.
