I am sure most of us love being in a big city, but that doesn’t mean that other small towns and villages can’t be breathtaking or alluring or amazing

you just have to find the right town or village to visit and you’ll see they have as much to offer as big cities if not more.

It is true that cities offer skyscrapers that are a sight to behold,

expansive malls and the generally exciting atmosphere that comes with being in a big city,

but the best way to experience the culture, traditions and norms of a new region

is to travel to the smaller towns and villages that are usually far away from big cities.

Today, we’ve compiled an exciting list of the 30 most beautiful villages in the world, and I’m thrilled to share this list with you today,

so let’s get started.

Bosa is a small town located on the seaside and on top of a small hill on the northwest coast of Sardinia City.

It is known for its medieval castle which the town is built around.

The castle is called ‘Castello Malaspina’. Other than that, the town is rich in culture and heritage.

The most notable thing is the multicolored houses that are found in the town.

Malana is nestled in the mountains in the northeastern Kullu Valley.

It’s a very old and isolated village that has breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Known to house one of the world’s oldest democracies, it has a unique tribe that is not very well known.

Sidi Bou Said is located about 20 kilometers from the capital city of Tunisia, Tunis.

This thriving town is located on top of a cliff that gives stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Its cobblestone streets are lined with small shops and stalls that characterizes the culture of the town.

Murren is a stunning village found in the mountains in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland.

It has a high altitude of 5413ft (1650m) and gives you a wonderful view of the famous alpine peaks of the surrounding mountains.

Most of the buildings in the village are made out of wood, giving it an inviting rural feel.

Poovar, a town in the state of Kerala, is known for its beautiful beaches which are considered to be among the cleanest beaches in the country.

However, this, of course, means they attract a large number of tourists.

Puno is known as the cultural center of Peru, and it is located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

The most notable activity in Puno is the floating island which is known for its undisturbed beauty.

Pariangan is a village belonging to the largest ethnic group found on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia.

It is located in the regency of Tanah Datar in Indonesia.

The beauty of this village comes from the numerous well-preserved houses of the villagers,

which have been used for ages, as well as a mosque that has stood the test of time.

Göreme is located on a cliffside and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Turkey.

The village is well-placed within the slopes of Santorini and gives amazing views to both travelers and residents of the expansive Santorini Caldera.

This is a ruined fortress that overlooks the whole village, and this is the most notable site in the region.

San Miguel de Allende is an important historical site that is even listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

This small village has a population of only 300 villagers and can easily be forgotten.

It sits on the mouth of Reinefjord, which is close to the beautiful Lofoten peaks.
