Merlot for Two

Miley sits on the side of her bed nibbling a dark chocolate candy bar. Even with the baggy pjs and rollered hair her beauty still shines through. She wishes someone loves her as much as she enjoys a bar of good chocolate. Frustrated from being single, she performs her usual routine of undressing and crawling into her, preparing to fall asleep to a good romantic movie. The phone rings, it's Tracie, her best friend. She loves Tracie and her husband, Mark. She thinks, if only she could be so lucky as Tracie to find her true love. “Hey, Miley. How are you?” “I’m great.” “I have something set up for you, it’s a photoshoot.” “I think it will help you realize that you’re lovely and still have it. “She gives Tracie the information for the photoshoot then hangs up.

Excited, Tracie hops out of bed heads to her closet to select outfits for her photoshoot for the next day.

The next day Tracie heads to the Photoshoot. Her photographer greets her at the door, “Hello how can I help you?” His name is Greg. A handsome guy with an amazing smile. She responds, “Yes, I'm Miley, I have an appointment for a shoot today.” “ Oh yes, I remember that name now, how are you today?” She smiles, “I'm fine, just a little nervous. How does this photo shoot thing go?” He explains the shoot and assures her everything will be fine. He offers her a glass of Terraform red blend Merlot wine to help relax her.. She smiles and accepts. “ It’s like you read my mind. I love wine, especially Merlot.” He gazes into her eyes and responds, “I’m glad you like it, it’s a favorite of mine too.

Greg picks up her bags for her then escorts her over to the photo shoot set up. As they head back, he opens the door for her. She murmurs, “Such a gentleman,” they laugh.

“This is where it all goes down”, he smiles. “As you can see there will only be me, you and the camera.” She smiles. Making small talk, he asks how she found out about his photoshoot business. She reveals that her best friend set it up for her. He responds, “Well, I think she made a great choice, I think you will be pleased with the finished product.”

As Miley checks him out, her mind drifts briefly, wondering if he is married or has a girlfriend. She gets good vibes from him, but refocuses quickly.

The photoshoot area it's a little different than the open, but basically the same, other than the camera equipment, photo screens, and elevated steps. They make more small talk as their chemistry seems to increase.

Greg Inquires, “Well let me see what you have”. He watches as Miley pulls the sexy lingerie from her bag. All of the items, so sexy. She pretends not to notice, but she sees the excitement and anticipation in his eyes.

Greg selects the first piece of lingerie for her to start the photoshoot. She heads for the dressing room. He takes another look at her remaining articles of lingerie she will be modeling. When she returns, he is astonished at how lovely and beautiful she looks. The chemistry builds.

As Miley walks toward him, Greg can hardly contain himself, but tries to be the ultimate professional that he is. He takes a deep breath. Oh very nice. He starts to direct her motions, placing his hands gently on her shoulders. Lost in the moment, the touch of Greg's hands on her shoulders sends chills through her body. However, she remembers that unfortunately, she isn’t on a date, but a photoshoot.

Greg adjusts her lingerie so that it fits perfectly, then begins the photoshoot. The camera clicks repeatedly, as he shouts, “Lovely oh, yes right there, perfect!” His inspirational comments, makes Miley feel like a top model. They complete the shoot in that outfit. He then chooses another for her. With each outfit, he realizes how beautiful she is. He tries to block the thoughts wondering if she is married or seeing someone. So he avoids asking the question that he so desperately wants to have answered.

As Miley begins to head to the dressing room for yet another change, she notices her phone buzzing. As she answers, Greg signals that she can take her time, he leaves the room to go check his messages as well.

Greg returns to the photoshoot room smiling. Tracie smiles at him as he approaches. They have both discovered that they have Tracie as a mutual friend. Being the compassionate and loyal friend that she is, Tracie figured that Greg and Miley would be perfect for each other.

Greg reaches for Miley’s hand and kisses it. “Will you be my date?” They both laugh, Tracie accepts. Greg grabs another glass and they both toast to their first date, sipping Merlot wine.
