Therefore, the program he hosted became popular throughout the country as soon as it was broadcast.

He was born in 1971 to an ordinary citizen's family in Chongqing and moved to Nanjing with his parents' job transfer. After failing the college entrance exam in 1990, he moved south to Shenzhen to pursue his career. After arriving in Shenzhen, he started looking for a job without stopping. However, after more than ten days, he found nothing. With little money left, he had to move out of the small hotel and into a shabby shack. During that time, all he did was collect job information from old newspapers on the street and apply again and again.

After a month of moving around, he finally got a job as a porter. The job was hard and poorly paid and required constant scolding from a demanding boss. With tears and sweat, he managed to do it for a month and then left Shenzhen.

After returning to Nanjing, he worked as a printer. This job has to work day and night for three consecutive days, every 10 hours, can rest once, and if the hands and feet are a little slow, in the stipulated time to finish the assembly line work, will affect the next link, will be a big scold by the team leader. Even so, he persevered to survive.

When he got his first monthly salary, he applied for the adult college entrance examination. So anonymous to do a year of "tea boy". In July 1994, after receiving a junior degree in Chinese literature from Nanjing Normal University, he set a higher goal for himself: to stop being a "tea boy" and become a journalist.

After having a goal, he will be single-minded toward the ideal goal to run forward. He came to the station early every day and took advantage of the opportunity to help the reporters clean up to get familiar with the working process of reporters, when some old reporters went out to cover the interview, volunteered to carry the camera, so he learned some interview skills and camera operation. After MIXING with the old reporter, his diligence and hard-working, finally moved the old reporter, gradually, some small news, the old reporter will give him. Although he is only a behind-the-scenes reporter with his name on the back of an old reporter, he is very happy because he uses this hard-earned opportunity as a platform to train and improve himself.

Then, with the increasing frequency of TV exposure, Taiwan's leaders finally noticed him and allowed him to go out and run the news while doing his job well. Leadership "outside the law" let him finally HAVE the opportunity to show his strength, from then on, he every day overdrafts physical strength desperately to do the program, stay up all night is a common thing.
