Dania used her common sense and stayed on the floor until she heard the door close behind Taalib as he left. Did she really just hear him speaking to Zarina? Why was he telling her thanks and where is he pulling up to? What was really going on she wondered. Dania got up off of the floor as if nothing happened, but she was just kicked in the head.

Dania walked into the bedroom to grab her phone and turned back around to the hallway. She grabbed her dead mild off the floor and headed to the bathroom. She really had to use the bathroom, and as she pulled her pants down to sit on the commode she suddenly felt dizzy.

"Damn he must have super kicked me" she said to herself. "Thank God Ibn and Zaynaab are still sleep, I don't need the extra noise right now," she also exclaimed.

Dania was getting ready to dial Zarina's phone number and all of a sudden a sharp pain shot down her spine. Fighting through the pain, Dania prepared to clean herself as she was done relieving herself. She went to wipe herself and stand up, and suddenly the bathroom lights were too bright. She could barely tolerate it, and her conscious went from wanting to call Zarina back to second guessing calling 9-1-1. There was now a white noise ringing in her ears, and she heard the front door open again.

"Daniaaaa," the voice from downstairs sang to her. The voice sounded familiar. The pains down her spine kept traveling and they got sharper. The lights got brighter and she squinted harder.

"Daniaaaaa, my love," the voice was getting closer but she couldn't hear any foot steps.

Dania remained on the toilet, holding her forehead and rocking back and forth gently as if she was nauseas. Every time she leaned forward, she seemed to be closer and closer to the floor.

"Hey Boo," Zarina said as she was watching Dania suffer. "I hope you don't mind, but I let myself in with Taalib's key."

"Bitch you are filthy, get out of my house!", Dania whimpered. "Get out or I swear on my kids, I will kill you where you stand!"

"Oh no baby, I upset you. Okay well how about you get up and kill me," Zarina suggested. "Uh oh, baby girl you are really struggling. Just go right on ahead and fall over and take a nap, I'll take care of the kids tonight."

And just like that Dania's body obliged and slowly went cold and numb. All of the fight that she held within, trickled down her face in forms of tears. How could she be betrayed so easily by someone that she loved? Why would she even choose Taalib is the better question? Did she think and believe her relationship with him be any better?

And there it was, Dania was passed out on her bathroom floor and her supposed best friend just stood there and looked at her. As Zarina stood at the threshold of the bathroom door, there was another pair of footsteps that came up the stairs of Taalib's home. None other than the devil himself, it was Taalib.

Taalib and Zarina hadn't bothered Dania's motionless body, they didn't even fret about her conscious status. Instead they turned the lights out and closed the door behind them, checked on the children, and exited the home. The couple stood on the porch, and just watched the cerulean sky. Zarina took a heavy seat on the porch stairs as if she had weights hanging from her body.

"Babe now what? I love you but you know that was my best friend, emphasis on was and friend! She saw me, she said my name, she knew I was there and I treated her like nothing."

Taalib peared down at her at met her confused glare with his, "Don't you think its too late to care so deeply? Let's go, we have to attend jummu'a tomorrow and you have a very long night ahead of you."

Zarina smiled, but just as fast as that smile appeared it faded even quicker. "What about y'all children?"

"If she ain't dead or a vegetable by the morning, she'll wake up eventually, if not Ibn knows how to contact me. Now let's go before you ruin my mood."

Zarina stood up from the porch, and to her surprise her face was wet. She wasn't sweating and it wasn't raining. Somehow she managed to cry one tear. She had to wipe it away before she got into the car and before Taalib noticed it.

"Let's go!" Taalib shouted from the driveway. Zarina was in a trance and snapped out of it fast.

"I'm coming babe!" Zarina said back as she walked off of the porch stairs and looked up Dania's bedroom window. Somehow she was praying that her Nia Pia was standing there but she was left on the bathroom floor."
