LOVE IS NEVER FAR AWAY

Kevin came into this world with the gods smiling down on him. He was born into a rich family, he was extremely handsome and talented. And everything that he touched turned into gold. He was compassionate and considerate and adored by many. Kevin was trusting and he loved hard and that eventually became his downfall.

By the time Kevin turned 28 years old both of his parents had died and he was an only child so he was left alone. He inherited millions of dollars, but no amount of material things could fill the empty void he felt. He prayed daily for love and companionship and after seven years of loneliness he finally met Beth. Kevin was convinced his prayers had been answered, and they were. Just not by God but the devil.

Beth was manipulative, evil and greedy. She would stop at nothing until she got what she wanted. She had Kevin by the heart strings and she knew exactly how to play him. Kevin was so happy to have someone in his life that he blindly followed Beth down the path to his destruction. She quickly went through his inherited fortune. And after she drained all his finances she slithered away in the night like the snake she was.

Kevin lost everything, his family home was in foreclosure and he had no money. All he had left was a small cabin he had forgot about. It was a cozy cottage with a picturesque view of the lake. Kevin once again was lonely and he had given up all hope of every being happy again.

After months of feeling sorry for himself Kevin decided one day to remodel the cabin to deal with his depression. He began knocking down walls to start the rehabilitation of his home and life. As he knocked down a wall he discovered a small black notebook and a small red jewelry box. He curiously opened the jewelry box and discovered a beautiful diamond ring. He opened up the notebook and read the words written only on one page, and it simply said: LOVE IS NEVER FAR AWAY.

Kevin looked at the ring everyday and read the words in the notebook like a mantra. The words began to give him hope and a desire to live again. He had the ring appraised and to his surprise the jeweler informed him that the ring was worth 20,000.

Kevin decided to give love another try, so he joined a dating site. And once again the gods smiled down on him and sent Amy. Kevin knew right away that she was a godsend. When he went to pick her up for their first date, he arrived at her front door. He happened to look down, he smiled when he read the words on her door mat, LOVE IS NEVER FAR AWAY.
