ABC's newest installment of their popular Bachelor franchise just ended and it took the world by storm. Titled "The Golden Bachelor", it starred a 72-year-old man named Gerry, who was searching for a second chance at love. It raised the question - is it ever too late to start over? Gerry and his new love Teresa prove that it's never too late!

A new study from Coventry agrees with their sentiment by unveiling the top cities across the United States where love is not only in the air but flourishing among those aged 65 and above.

Picture this: from the sunny shores of Sarasota, FL, to the lively streets of Omaha, NE, the study mapped out the top 15 cities (well, 17 if you count ties) where single seniors can find the perfect backdrop for their next romantic adventure. These cities offer a delightful mix of activities and opportunities to meet new people, ensuring that love is a constant presence in the air.

Attention all single senior ladies! Provo, UT, is the ultimate destination for you. With a jaw-dropping ratio of almost 3 single senior ladies for every bachelor, Provo is rewriting the rules of love in retirement. Dust off those dancing shoes, ladies, because Provo is calling your name!

Florida, the Sunshine State, is not just a hotspot for sun-soaked beaches and palm trees; it's also a paradise for senior connections. Sarasota, Fort Myers, Daytona Beach, and Palm Bay claim four out of the top five spots for single senior populations. If you're a senior singleton looking for love, pack your bags and head to Florida – it's where the romance is as vibrant as the sunsets.

Who would have thought that the heartland of America could be a hidden gem for senior singles? Wichita, KS, shines as the second-best city to meet your match, boasting more retirement communities per capita than any other city in our analysis.

Finding the right match is indeed a numbers game, and Sarasota, FL, is the undisputed champion. With a promising 12,574 male and female single seniors per capita, Sarasota sets the bar high. Fort Myers and Daytona Beach, FL, follow closely behind, neck and neck for second place, with impressive combined male and female single senior populations.

Sarasota proves its single senior credentials with a significantly higher "Places to Meet" score than any other city analyzed (15.0 out of 20.0). Boasting the highest number of 55+ adult communities per capita, Sarasota stands out in this category.

Ohio knows how to set the stage for unforgettable date nights, especially for single seniors. Akron and Toledo steal the spotlight, claiming the first and third spots for the most exciting things to do on a date. With a plethora of options, from theaters to arts appreciation, Ohio has you covered for romantic adventures that transcend age.

Akron, OH, takes the lead with the highest "Things to Do" score in the dataset. The city's love for the arts, with more theaters per capita than any other city analyzed, makes it the perfect stage for seniors to enjoy the magic of romance. Who knew Akron had more drama than a production of Hamlet?

Researchers started with the 100 most populated U.S. cities, evaluating them based on single senior population, things to do, and places to meet. Assigning weights to each factor, they calculated a score out of 100 for each city.

So, seniors, it's time to embrace the possibilities that these cities offer. Whether you're dancing in Provo, basking in the warm Florida sunshine, discovering the hidden gems of Wichita, or enjoying the arts in Akron, your next chapter of love awaits! Age is just a number, but these cities are where the heart truly knows no bounds. Age truly is just a number - Happy senior dating!
