Kindness
All You Have to Do Is Look For It- It Still Exists
This morning I misplaced my cell phone. I always called it, with my husband's cell phone, however he is in Neuro ICU at Bay Health Medical Center in Dover, Delaware.
This picture reminds me, that when I was sixty -four years, old my son was brutally murdered at forty-four years old. I went out looking on the streets for my son's killer, and that is when I really got to know him.
Richard L Jacobs Jr. was born on February 16, 1971. He was an easy child to raise. He was always eager to please. I considered him my best friend. He served with the military and fought on the front lines of Desert Storm, and he was awarded three bronze stars and the Medal of Valor. However, he did not like the suffering of war, and he wondered why people couldn't talk out their differences instead of "killing each other".
He wrote home to me once, "Whether the tears are Iraqi or American, they all looked the same."
However, this article is not about my son Richard, although I will write an article about what I found out on the streets, while looking for my son's killer.
What I want to write about today, is the kindness extended to me by the followers of my articles, and I appreciate everyone of you, more than you know.
My Husband Is In Neuro ICU
I often misplace my cell phone, and I wondered if other people do the same. Apparently, they do, from what I understand, by asking around. I have misplaced it several times since my husband has been in the hospital, and I took him his cell phone, and I always managed to find it. It means everything to me, to be able to text him every day, and it keeps his spirits up as well, as mine. However, I always found it. Today, was the exception, it was under my bed covers.
I need to order an another cell phone, and I wonder if you kind folks can tell me what model is compatible with Apple Watches that are notified in case of emergencies.
What I Did After I Freaked Out
I had a secret. I had a brain bleed after a fall, a year ago, May. It affected my ability to speak properly, but not to write or read.
I am working on speech therapy to retrain my brain, so I can speak without using "UM".
The only thing I could do is hope, one of my readers would respond.
And They Did
I would like to give a big shout out to Diann Tuttle of Bowers Beach Delaware, and Michelle Porter, from Elkton Maryland, who called me right away. I will always be eternally grateful to them. They have been reading my articles, as far back as I can remember, and they saved me this morning, and I will always be eternally grateful to them.
I Will Order A New Cell Phone
Can you folks tell me what is the newest phone, that is compatible with an Apple Watch, and yes, I am very much aware that I asked you that one time before in this article.
This article is about KINDNESS, and that was what was shown to me this morning. I thank you from the depths of my heart. I will give you an update on my husband, his diagnosis has changed.
I would also like to give a should out to my friend William Porter, who was out to sea, when I sent out the SOS, he has been reading my articles for six years, since I was writing on Hub Pages.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude, for everyone that has read or followed my articles, I certainly do appreciate it.
To Diann and Michelle who answered my SOS call, I will be eternally in your debt. I know I've said this before, but it bares repeating.............
"I Am Eternally In Your Debt." If God Made Angels Here On Earth, -- You Were Certainly Mine This Morning."
THANK YOU!!!!!-FROM THE VERY BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
