Someone You Love Istikhara, Istikhara is an Islamic term which means to ask Allah to guide you to the best possible path in order to make a decision. An istikhara is also considered a type of dua since a request is being directly made to Allah. An istikhara is considered an extremely vital part of Islam and it is highly recommended that you do it on a regular basis.

• Recite Surah-Al-Ikhlas- Chapter 112
• Read the dua for istikhara with devotion.
• If you want,you can perform salawat before and after making an istikhara.
• Perform istikharafor 7 consecutive days or until your wish is fulfilled.

“O Allah! I seek guidance from Your knowledge and with Your power and might I seek strength and I ask from You, Your great blessings because You have the power and I do not have the power. You know everything and I do not know, and You have knowledge of the unseen.

O Allah! If in Your knowledge this action of {insert your question here that you want clarity about} which I intend to do is better for my religion, faith, life and death, for here and hereafter, then make it destined for me and make it easy for me and then add blessings in it for me.

O Allah! If in Your knowledge if this action is bad for me, bad for my religion, faith, life and death, for here and hereafter, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it and whatever is better for me, destine that for me and then make me satisfied with it.”

It is recommended that the person who wants clarity should do the istikhara themselves although you can perform it for someone else if the need arises. Make note that it probably won’t be as effective as if they performed it themselves.

Someone You Love Istikhara

You can thus perform istikhara for someone you love as you can ask Allah to guide them in the best possible way. Then the person you love will be guided by Allah to the right path and thus be able to make the right decision. Many people perform istikhara for marriage by name. This is done to get clarity about whether you should get married to that individual or not. It is advised that the person who is getting married does the istikhara for their own marriage instead of the parents or relatives. This can be done only if you know the person’s name.

You need to mention your future husband’s/wife’s name in the istikhara that you perform and ask Allah to guide you accordingly. If the indications are positive then you should go ahead but if they are showing something negative then it is better that you don’t go ahead with the marriage. There is istikhara to save marriage also. In this istikhara you ask Allah for ways in which you can save your marriage. This will come to use when your spouse wants a divorce or separation, he/she is cheating on you, he/she has lost interest in you or any other reason.

You can make an istikhara to know the ways in which you can keep your spouse with you and how you both can live together happily ever after. If the istikharaindicates that you should separate, then you should do so. It may be the best path for you as there may be a better person for you in the future.

You can perform istikhara to see future husband as well.This can be done if you want clarity about which manwill get married to you. You can ask Allah to guide you to the husband of your dreams so that you can see him and/or meet him. You may have a dream about him or somehow he will come into your life for example through a marriage proposal.
