igoodnews: waka flocka saves the day..
Realtor & Rapper known as "Waka Flocka Flame" helped rescue University of Kentucky fans that were trapped in a stalled elevator at Kroger Field.

the controversial rap artist who has since turned into a health advocate and real estate mogul, talking to youth about maintaining success through insurance, has finally got some good news to share! he did his big superhero thing by playing stepdad, to his ex-wifes child from a previous marriage; and now he does it AGAIN, as he has stepped into his cape and rescued his fans from a stuck elevator.
the incident took place in nov. 2025 & it didn't get enough attention to us! though the rapper is known for relationship drama, family feuds and lately has been under political fire for his strong loud opinions, we love to see the brave courageous side of the artist.
it was said by a witness, to KSRonX news admin Taylor, that rapper Flocka Flame, rescued fans by prying open the broken elevator doors with his hands to help get them out and to safety just "in the nick of time". the rapper was at "Lexington to play a concert later that night & was scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. at Manchester music Hall" says taylor.
safe to say that the rapper was a good luck charm for the day because the team won their game and advanced that night. the rapper who was recently awarded by the trump administration a prestigious presidential award, often spews to younger men about his own life story regarding manhood, identity and transitioning from a hard head to a young gentlemen that listens. well, hopefully this act of bravery rubs off on all the young men who surround him. safe to say, while the rapper is still young it is good to hear of a heroic story.
this comes shortly after a viral and overly sensationalized internet moment of the musician, stating that he would rescue his wife if there ever was a crisis, while on the giving podcast w/ sarah. he stated, he would, willingly put himself last to "rescue his wife and make another child", and with him usually on the defensive end to support his mother, mrs. deb antney, it was well overdue to see him step up to the plate, in a non violent manner to attend to the needs of his loyal fanbase by putting action behind those words.. if they weren't fans before, they sure are now.
the event took place on kroger field, where wildcat fans got stuck inside and began panicking. after his recent divorce from his reality tv star wife, and after a very public spat online with political commentators, this was a great way to overshadow the bad that has recently happened, with some good. his top charting hit "no hands" went triple plat in 2025, but this was him using all brawn and hands to get the doors open to free the fans.
standing at 6'4, 250 pounds with a hand that is the size of a football, it is great to see the music star use his weight to help. with long locs of hair, tattoos everywhere and a personality bigger than his stature, and larger than life itself, it is easy for some to mistaken the hip-hop head for dangerous, aggressive or violent. with music that can sometimes make you believe that you have to be cautious around the rapper, and a style that spits that he is very self assured, we love to hear of rappers breaking the stereotypes of how they are portrayed in the media with a reality of being considerate and kind. when he could have said " that isnt my business" he took charge to make sure the young fans were a ok.
