We all know what love is, the stages it goes through and what to do to keep it alive. But ... What happens when love disappears ? People fall in love but may, one day, no longer love each other. And now comes the big question: How can we make sure love doesn't go away?

We will find out in this article!

Physical And Mental Attraction

When we fall in love with someone, we feel drawn to that person. So why all of a sudden do we stop feeling this attraction? Why do we all “get tired ” of/from our spouse?

Attraction is one of the first phases of creating the feeling of love that fades over time.

With him go the nervousness when he / she called you, when he / she invited you to go out, when you wanted to give him a gift ... Where did she go? Our bodies have changed. We are no longer The habit is starting to take effect.

The Power Of Habit

Boredom and monotony do nothing good . Before, everything was new and now everything repeats. Where then is what surprised us? Two-person projects vanish, there is no more spontaneity…

The fruit of habit is the lack of physical contact. We are starting to suppress our expressions of affection in public and the tender words have disappeared from our vocabulary.

A routine has been set up and that “accommodates” us, but over time, this routine has consequences. We begin to miss our spouse , and to see in him / her faults that we did not notice before.

Destructive Criticism

Why was he or she perfect at first and no longer is? Why do faults appear suddenly? Were we blind ?

The exaltation of qualities is another phase of love. We magnify them and over time, when we finally see them as they are, we don't like them as much.

We are starting to get tired of these behaviors that we tolerated and we no longer hesitate to tell our spouse whatever we think, no matter if we hit him.

Before, we had more empathy, we were more understanding… Suddenly, we turn into a slave of complaints, of nervousness and therefore, of disputes.

Lack Of Communication

The key to any relationship is communication . She can never miss in a relationship or it is lost. It is necessary to interact with our partner, to speak and not to argue, to exchange desires, emotions, to see trust in each other as before.

All this is lost when the attraction disappears and the faults show up. We no longer see our spouse but sometimes a total unknown .

The Fine Line Of Tenderness

"I don't love her anymore but I have tenderness for her / him" . You certainly know this phrase. All that we have seen above leads to this point. And it is here that we realize perfectly the line which separates love from affection.

Despite the lack of love , we still feel affection for this person with whom we have shared part of our life .

There have been good times and bad times, and we have lived them all. It was something important that we do not consider negative. But ... love is no more. As we mentioned above, the strength of the habit and the passage of the years cause disenchantment, lack of communication ... all this turns love into a simple affection .

And now comes the big question: How Can You Avoid Falling Out Of Love ?

Not all couples manage to preserve their love over time, that's why we say that love has an expiration date.

It is perhaps the affinity, the type of personality that the two people have, which influence the duration of their love.

Humor, a positive attitude, doing things together, having fun… All this helps, but things always depend on how we are and how we feel.
