I let my mind unfurl its sails,
Set its compass toward southern swail's.
Along a lonely course,
To my hearts deepest source.
Around its cracked, jagged edges,
Memory filled sails search its ledges.
About my beating island jagged,
I sail mong flotsam, jetsam haggard.
One crack, two cracks, three,
O’re port , O’re starboard free.
To find lost dreams, love lost,
Sail to heal, at all cost.
Into its parts deep,
To find memories laugh yes weep.
Inside the abyss glowing red,
Among waves happy, then dread.
Sails full of memories wind,
Below the canopy of life, shock my mind.
Fore and aft they lie,
Each pain, each ache float by.
Doldrums on this vast ocean,
Reminds each dream each notion.
O’re swell, O’re wave,
Old memories crave.
To grasp emotions depth and height,
I sail the swelling waves of plight.
The agony of sailing one’s hearts oceans blood red,
A mind of memories love lost a journey led.
