Have you ever had a friend who thought of you first, who loved you just because, who fought with you like their brother and still cool.

What about a friend, who took you at face value, who did not truly get you, but liked you anyway and dared anyone to mistreat you?

Your friend knows, there's something special about you that needs protecting... finds your pattern of thinking interesting.

Have you ever had a friend that you could say, do anything with and not worry about the world learning of it which bonded y'all like entwined vines with thorns?

Have you ever had a friend who cried for you, cried with you, willing to die for you pray with you or do time for you? What about care for you in times of illness.

True friends won't cross the line once its drawn. Even if you fall out for months, you still come around and pickup where you left off. Handing the other a drink, an Ice cream cone or just a hug with the words, "I apologize".

Real friends are rare these days, people think those you can lie with for pleasure is a friend. Your true friend will not run away in times of trouble, nor speak ill behind your back but defend you. You true friend will not try to sway you away from the one you love, but watch from afar to catch you if things go sour.

Real friends help one another with food, clothing and shelter. They pick up the pieces that others left behind until you are able to stand solid again. Without seeking anything in return.

I cannot say I have encountered such a friendship since the first stage of adulthood. However, it came with betrayal that left a memory until my children became adults.

Real friends do not cross any lines ... imaginary or three dimensional. If anyone tells you they are your friend and want to sleep with you or you are having a social relationship with, that person is only in it for what they can get and will downplay every relationship you seek in order to keep you with them. Ditch the fake friends..

Real ones are out there. Who will walk with valor beside you as an Angel.

Real friends, will help you view your thoughts differently. They will research what's consuming your thoughts because they only want the best for you. A true friend cannot be bribed by money, sex or power.

Is anyone out here? who understands the soul bond of a friend?

I had a friendship that lasted twenty plus years. It was not as I speak of, but close. I visited my friend one day, her female dog bit me on my thigh. From the moment I told her how much the doctor bill was from the dog bite, we never spoke again. I still considered her my friend however, I was not close to her as either her money or dog. I wasn't the first to be bitten by this animal I learned.

If anyone ever have the opportunity to engage with a potential friend for life, do so.

This person will not agree with all you say, will not lie to you about anything at all but always be truthful.

Friends, never lie to one another, steal, cheat one another. Give their point of views regardless if you like it or not. They may cuss each other out occasionally then say, "are we still going out or not?" with some other added words that I don't dare write.
