Chris and Alexandria

They say “no romance without finance” and they also say “no one is really in love people just settle for each other.” They say this because the one you want is the one you’ll rarely get. Chris is 36 years old and he’s just about loss hope in ever finding a woman that feels the same way about life as he does. He puts on a façade for people giving off the impression that he’s strong and that he doesn’t need love now that he’s struck at rich. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Since Chris’s true love died tragically in a murder he’s been too much of a coward to really let another woman in. He makes every excuse to push women away or he starts ghosting out on them if they come close to his heart. When Chris didn’t have any money women treated him very cold cruel and as a youth he got into trouble with the law trying to make money the fast way because of that he earn himself a criminal history that temporarily hindered him.

Chris is a professional writer and he is gifted across the board. His characters are all reminiscent of people he’s met in real life or fragments of them exist in each character he creates. Chris has made millions off of last book “The Man That Loss His Way” it’s about a man that basically turns into an “Uncle Scrooge” type character because life treated him bitterly and he was once such a sweet person. His success did not encourage him to try again at love and he also mourns the death of “Jasmine” his fiancée she loved him but she didn’t believe in his dreams. She would always say that he was too much of a dreamer and then she’d get really playful in bed with Chris and then they would make love until they passed out asleep. Chris has tried to date though to his credit but the feeling of failure he feels because he wasn’t there to save Jasmine. A shooter messed his mark and shot Jasmine dead from a headshot while she was leaving the club with her friends she was only 30. She wanted to go on a dinner date with him but he was working on a novel and he didn’t want to stop his creative energy. He blames himself for her death secretly but in public he pretends to be at peace.

The torment of feeling guilty of failing the woman he wanted spend the rest of life his with made his private hell so he dived into his writings to channel the energy into art. Chris dived head first into his work at this point in his life he pumped out hit after hit at speed that the world had never seen before. The money was piling and so were has awards it got to the point where he felt as if he nothing else to accomplish. But Chris really wanted Jasmine back even though he didn’t understand that Jasmine was never really the one for him because she never believed in his dream and her death freed him to become the greatest writer of his time. And then while he was watching CNN one morning this beautiful and brave activist named Alexandria caught his eye for her stance on political issues because Chris was very polically conscious. Alexandria was everything that Jasmine wasn’t.

Chris had to catch her attention though he was a renowned author he preferred to stay mysterious so only his agent knew his true identity as well as banker and manager. His manager (Hank) and his banker (Bobby) are the only two friends he has he’s lived in a shell since he wrote he first book and he was once very outgoing. So when Alexandria walked by him in passing he stopped her and sparked a conversation. He said “Alexandria may I speak with you for a minute?” She said “sure I have a little time to spare” in her deep east coast accent. Chris said “Your speech on justice for the disinvestment in communities of color touched me in way I didn’t think was humanly possible.” She smiled elegantly as she ran her fingers through her silky long dark hair. Then Chris asked her “are seeing anybody because I can’t leave without having a way to contact you personally.” She said “welllll I kinda have a friend but we’re on the rocks but I’ll take yours because it’s not going to work out.” Chris was in disbelief then she passed him her phone and he typed his number into her contact list then Alexandria took back her phoned and cheesed with a childish grin and said “I’ll be in touch pretty boy.”

About a week later Chris was home watching “It” his favorite horror movie when his phone started ringing unexpectedly and to surprise it was Alexandria. He said “hello who is this” the Alexandria said “who are you expecting?” Chris said “this is Alexandria I’d been waiting on your call for about a week I’d given up on the call what’s up?” Alexandria relied “nothing I just wanted to get out of the house for a minute wanna take me for a ride and tell me all about yourself?” Chris said “sure text me your address and I’ll be there shortly.” Alexandria then texted him her address and Chris went on his way listening to his favorite slow jams all the way to her house. When he pulled up she was sitting on a brand new Mercedes and she said I thought we’d take my car. Chris had no idea that Alexandria was just as wealthy as he was her parents were rich sobs that died tragically in a car accident and they left her millions. Alexandria dedicated her life to activism because she felt like her parents death was karma for all of the people they hurt on the way to the top.

They rode the city all night talking Chris told her about his last relationship and she told him about her’s and they stopped for a bite to eat at a pizzeria. Chris told her “you’re one of the most beautiful people that I’ve ever seen she smerked and said “whatever you say that to all the pretty girls.” He said “hell nah that’s not my style all I can see is you baby and you give me a feeling that most people only get once in a lifetime.” Alexandria said “well to be honest I believe that and you’re never going to find a package like this anywhere else.” Chris said “I can believe that you’re a one of one I must see you again.” Then they joked and finished their food and she took Chris back to his car. Chris hugged Alexandria and he said “sky is the limit from here baby.” Alexandria looked into his eyes and smiled softly and said “you know what I think you’re right but it’s not going to be that easy to get into my pants Mr.” Chris said “I respect that you’re a true queen and I will treat you as such.” Chris then went to his car and as he drove passed Alexandria standing on her brownstone steps she blew him a kiss.

Chris had fallen madly in love with Alexandria on the first date without sex and with more dates potentially in the future. Chris had recently said love was a joke and now he was more in love with Alexandria after one date and no than he ever was with Jasmine for years doing the whole nine yards. That goes to show that love is the strongest force on earth. And doesn’t take sex or a ton of money to make you fall in love with somebody all it takes is for you be shown what you’ve never seen and the universe will take care of the rest.
