Fatimah Haroon to Bring Us the First Pakistani Photoshoot of Turgut Alp

For some people, every next step becomes an unprecedented milestone for others to look up to. This is how we can define the journey of Fatimah Haroon, one of the most celebrated professional photographers in the country, as she sets out to add another great stint to her bag. This time, she teams up with none other than Cengiz Coskun, aka Turgut Alp for a highly anticipated photoshoot, which will be the superstar’s first appearance in the Pakistani glamour industry.

The fever of Ertugrul is nowhere near its end in Pakistan, with people being familiar with all its characters and actors. Among them, the historical figure of Turgut Alp and the actor Cengiz Coskun are among the most loved ones. With several other actors from the series making an appearance of some sort, including Esra Bilgic and Engin Altan, people have been waiting for a stint by Cengis Coskun. But it is definitely worth the wait, as he will have a seasoned campaigner like Fatimah Haroon alongside. Can it get any better? We don’t think so.

We are talking about a woman who has set off with flying colors in a mostly male dominated profession, with several groundbreaking feats already in her bag. The list definitely doesn’t end her, as at the age of just 16, she was asked to speak at prestigious institutions like National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIK). Mentioning her education, she had learnt the craft at Central Saint Martins College of Arts London for Film and Television, completing a master’s degree from there.

It was in 2009, when she was just 22, came a major highlight of her journey. With her career in full swing, she got to walk the Red Carpet of Cannes Film Festival, the youngest Pakistani woman to do so. Along with that, she has worked on many projects of Hollywood and Bollywood, which include stints with renowned actors like Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Malhotra. Moreover, Miss Fatography, as she is popularly called, has got her portfolio is filled with top Pakistani superstars and leading brands of the country.

Over the years, overcoming hurdles and setting new standards has been a constant feature for Fatimah. The upcoming photoshoot with Cengiz Coskun will also be hailed as a breakthrough moment of her career, and also pave way for more collaborative efforts by Pakistani and Turkish media professionals. Since Drilis: Ertugrul, or Resurrection: Ertugrul, Cengiz Coskun has not yet featured in any movie or series, which has kept his fans in Pakistan and also in Turkey waiting. His next big venture will be Malazgirt 1071, another historical epic. Malazgirt 1071’s trailer is already released online and has garnered millions of views. Cengiz is playing the lead role of Sultan Alp Arslan in the movie to be released in 2021, which is expected to become a sensation in many countries.
