Matchmaker George Cervantes

His name has graced the likes of many magazines. Glamour, The New York Times, Voyage and LA Magazine, just to name a few. His services are provided to the who’s who of LA, NYC & Miami. Celebrities mostly and those with a lot of money in their bank accounts. No, he isn’t a personal trainer, a surgeon or an investor. He’s a professional matchmaker who helps singles find love in a sophisticated way.

We got the chance to go one-on-one with celebrity matchmaker George Cervantes about what he does, how he does it and why. We meet with him at his Beverly Hills home where he welcomed us in a casual attired in jeans and a pair of yellow loafers, he gave us the lowdown on his profession as a top matchmaker. “I have definitely been gifted with a sixth sense that helps me get people in relationships” and with that special gift, “he gets people in happy relationships.”

Sitting in his modern apartment, amidst all the latest modern furniture, and everything matching to perfection, I for a moment – think that I might actually be in a fashionista’s living room. And I was right, George was previously a model in New York City and that’s why everything is so perfect. Even the way he dresses. He matches everything perfectly. Have I met a modern-day Cupid? Looks like I did.

We started talking and I asked him how he got started in the industry of matchmaking. He tells me that, after helping many of his friends get into happy relationships, he realized this could be something he can do full-time and make some money out of it. A former fashion model in New York City, George Cervantes founded Celebrity Matchmakers 12 years ago and today, he boast a large database of relationship-minded singles in the hottest cities in the nation. He also has many happy relationships and marriages under his belt (and made a lot of money too!)

George meets people everywhere he goes; his matchmaking work never ends. Whether he is walking down Rodeo Drive or on a vacation, he isn’t shy about approaching attractive people. Well, the few that make his cut. And what the not so attractive ones? “I am 100% honest.” He doesn’t have a problem telling his elite clients if he thinks they need to shed a few pounds.

According to George, his elite male clients have a list set in stone. In an already superficial world, these men have their future partner already chosen down to the ideal eye color, hair color and height and they aren’t willing to compromise. They pay George a lot of money and expect George to deliver.

George approaches beautiful women while shopping in order to keep his database filled with attractive women just so he can help one of his male clients find true love with a beautiful lady. His client list is 90% men. I don’t like to take women on (as clients) deadpans George, “unless they are easy to work with, if she’s beautiful and down to earth and I know I can help her find love, I’ll take her as a client.

When George meets someone for the first time, he knows right away whether or not he can take them on as a client of his elite matchmaking service.

Elite men in LA, NYC & Miami pay George anywhere from 10,000 to 50,000 for quality introductions.

Elite singles have time for everything in life… except time to waste dating people who aren’t serious about dating and that’s why they hire George as their personal matchmaker.
