How surprised I was to find your face had been photographed 59 years before I was born, your eyes staring out intently at unknown me, a future you will never know and I cannot fathom from your perspective.
You looked at him. You love him. He put you on display.
I will never know your face other than a small square, your name is immortalized on a card but only in the way where we do not think about our art being buried one day. But for now I look at you, through time, frame, glass, him, lens, light, you.
