Avan

This is Avan. He's a strange yet interesting young man, while he sits alone on a park bench pondering about something, yet I’m unsure if we will ever find out what that is. What do we really see here? A young man with really long straight hair? Sure. A guy with cool off brand sunglasses? Poser. Avan also wears way too many leather jackets throughout the week. For work Avan is a Gas Station Attendant, for fun he drinks with his buddies or sometimes even alone at night, and to spice things up Avan will occasionally go on a date or two per week. One day Avan was walking down an alley at night around 6pm with a beer in his hand, which he tends to do rarely, but something seemed to stop Avan in his tracks. It was a bloody envelope with lots of cash inside lying on the ground. Avan Unsure of what to do looked around to make sure no one was watching and looked back at the bloody envelope filled with 20,000 dollars in cash. Now I’d like to say that Avan simply walked away or turned the money into the police, but he didn’t. Avan put down his beer, picked up the bloody Envelope slipped it into his jacket pocket and walked away leaving his beer on the ground in the alley, which was stolen not too long after. Avan didn’t feel good but he didn’t feel too bad either, he felt that this was simply a sign from god. Avan continued his night, he went to work looking over both his shoulders and after work he decided to go out. Unashamed Avan spent his money on expensive bottles, treatment and friends. Avan kept taking shots back to back, soon after he received a text from his best friend saying meet him at this party so he could bring his car back. Avan pounded one more shot and stupidly he headed for the car. Avan figured he could manage a quick drive because he’s now awesome and this was his lucky day. Avan fumbles with his keys a little then gets in, Avan starts driving, he easily becomes distracted and loses control of the wheel, and hits someone, now let's talk about William.

William

This is William. William is Avan’s best friend who’s a drug addict, alcoholic and party animal. William is a person who likes to have fun no matter what the occasion is. William spends most of his days and nights in bars, clubs, and at parties.. One night William decides he’s going to see how much drugs he can take within 24 hours. William finds an isolated location, but something stops him in his tracks. William finds a small black notebook, so he opens it and all the pages are blank except one which says “ The money is near, in an obscure place, and can change your life.” Being the curious lit dude William is, he decides to go to all obscure places in his city like the subways and alleys. William checks a few subways and several alleys and he finds nothing. However he does see two cars damaged very badly right by the train tracks and two teens inside each car. William looks in the first car, which was a nice g-wagon Mercedes and sees a teen girl with long dark curly hair, opened green eyes and her face covered with blood. William couldn’t believe his eyes, the second car was his car all trashed up and his best friend inside unconscious. William notices something sticking out of Avan’s jacket, that’s right it’s the envelope filled with $20,000 in cash. If you guessed William picks up the envelope and takes it, we'll you’re right.William picks up the envelope, calls the police about the situation, and flees the scene. The next day William decides to buy a Cadillac with his new earned money, he figured since Avan totalled his old car the money was better off spent in his favor, now let's talk about Clare.

Clare

This is clare. She’s a young rich teen who drives a Mercedes to school, is on the cheerleading team, and she’s a very respected person in her community. However Clare is different from most people at her school, you would expect Clare to be the rich snobby person that most people assume, it should be noted that this isn't the case. Clare is an extremely nice person to everyone no matter who they are, that’s just her type of spirit. Unfortunately Clare has been hiding something from everyone she knows, Clare suffers from depression and sometimes she just doesn’t want to be alive anymore. One night Clare's depression gets the best of her and she gets into a fight with her mom and takes off in her mercedes. Clare starts crying and driving fast trying to escape reality for a bit, she soon stops the car on the side of the street and reaches in her bag. Clare had reached for her bottle filled with pills/drugs , I’m talking xanax, shrooms, weed, and depression pills. Clare wasn’t the usual drug taker but the depression just kept getting worse and worse within the past few days and to Clare this was her only escape. Clare gets extremely fucked up and starts driving again, Clare goes on a road that leads to the railroad tracks and can’t really focus to stay awake. Clare decides to put the car in park and decides to just take a breath to collect herself for a little bit, little did she know she would end up falling asleep because of the state she’s in. Not even 10 minutes later pass and there's a car that’s going at least 100M/P/H and instantly crashes into Clare. That’s right it was our boy Avan who decided he could manage a quick drive and it ended up costing him.

So what does this all mean? If Avan wouldn’t have found the envelope filled with cash, Avan wouldn’t have had a reason to drink and buy expensive treatment. If Avan never got drunk he would have been able to return Williams car in perfect condition, If this happened then Clare would have never got injured and Avan would still be alive. I guess what I’m trying to say is we are all inevitably connected in some way, every single one of us, all over the world. What one person does affects the other like domino’s. One of us falls and the other follows, and this keeps going and going until we’ve all fallen.
