Monday
If Monday were a person it would be the worst person. It would be that one alcoholic drink that always reminds you of the one night you wish had never happened. It’s that one customer who always puts a downer on your entire day and then tells you they are never coming back only to be there the same time the next day.
Monday is every Disney evil villain all rolled up in to one nice little horror story. It’s that mean bully that followed you all through our school making every hour a misery, only difference is Monday is going to follow you for the rest of your life. Monday is every unfulfilled dream, wish, expectation. But if we didn’t have Mondays another day would just take its place Tuesday would really have to up its game.
Tuesday
Now here’s the thing about Tuesday is, it tries to be there for you as a fall back from Monday, but you know Tuesday is Monday’s best friend and they are definitely in cahoots. Tuesday acts like your friend just until you let your guard down and then bam shows its ugly second face. Tuesday is that bar you see on a model but never seems to want to support your body. It’s that tv show that gets cancelled without giving the viewers closure.
Tuesday lurks in the darkness of Monday in the corner of your room watching as you sleep away the stress of Monday. Plotting on ways to mess you up. There are some bad Tuesdays out there such as black Tuesday, the great fall of wall street bringing an end to what was a great time, the 20’s. With many great things happening such as woman being given the right to finally vote and have a say. But the fall of wall street led the global economy into the great depression. Now I’m not saying all this happened because it was a Tuesday I’m sure it was just a coincidence. Or it could just be a big cosmic joke to show how terrible Tuesdays can really be.
Wednesday
Wednesday doesn’t really stick around for too long, but Wednesday is always there reminding you you’ve made it halfway through you can make it the rest of the way. Wednesday is that awkward friend that is there to reassure you it’s going to be okay but doesn’t like to stick around for the tears. Wednesday likes being there for you but doesn’t know how to act when the tears of Monday and Tuesday’s cruelty start to flood your eyes.
Wednesday wants you to know you can do this, you are strong. Wednesday is that kind person who picks you up if you fall, the stranger who always gives something to the homeless. Wednesday is always going to be waiting there for you, in the middle of all the drama ready to reassure you.
Thursday
Thursday is the glint of light you can see guiding you towards the end of the darkened tunnel. It’s the friend that cheers you on in everything you do from running a marathon to downing a beer Thursdays there for you. Thursday is that shoulder to cry on when the storm is almost over, your almost there.
Thursday is the nice relaxing warm bath soaking your aching muscles. It’s that one inspirational quote that you live by. Thursday is the person who lights up any room they walk into. They are the pre-drinks before the mega party. It’s that friend who always suggests the perfect movie evening with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Thursday helps you get over the other days and ready for the fun ones.
Friday
Friday is that fun, free living person. Always the life of the party. Friday just goes with the flow, takes what ever life throws at them and keep going. Friday just wants to get all the day work out of the way and meet up with the weekend crew to get the party started. Everyone is always happy to see Friday.
We all long for Friday’s company, the excitement and adventures Friday brings. Friday always has the best ideas, weekend away, party, adventure holidays all sorts. There is one bad Friday, Friday the thirteenth but even that’s still better than Monday, maybe because it only comes round every so often.
Saturday
Saturday is always happy, relaxed and ready to keep Friday’s fun going. Saturday always invites you to spa days, brunch, the football match or down the pub. Even when you’re dying of a hangover Saturday is there ready with a hangover cure and a day of relaxation.
Saturday helps us to make the most memorable memories with family and friends. Saturday always gives us a good reason to have a nice day out, but Saturday always has good suggestions if it rains. Saturday is always about the happy times.
Sunday
Sunday is great, Sunday is always in their pjs all day binge watching tv drinking endless amounts of tea. Sunday helps us to recover from the wild partying of Friday and Saturday. As great as they are they do take a lot of energy.
Sunday helps you relax and prepare for the vicious cycle that’s about to start all over again. Sunday cuddles you and smothers you with motivation. Telling you its okay it wont be long till you can see each other again. Sunday tells you not to pay any attention to Monday and Tuesday.

"Everyone Is Replaceable"
All our lives we are told this ridiculous lie that anyone and everyone is replaceable, I don’t know about you, but I have never once believed it. Sure, an employer can find a different employee, they maybe better than you they may not be, but they cannot replace the personal touches and atmosphere you carry with you. Ex-friends can get new friends, but they can’t replace the happiness you brought to their life, they can’t replace the memories you have imprinted on them. You may feel replaced, they may feel like the hole you left has been filled but there will always be that distant longing for your little quirks.

Death is a black hole. Think about it. A black hole is the corpse of a star, something once warm and bright, now come to the end of its life cycle. But some will argue that the cycle of life does not end with death. That death is merely another path we must walk once our bodies expire and our souls ascend. In that moment, when the fuel in the star’s chemical tank hits empty and the shiny matte coat explodes into supernova, the mass left behind – the corpse – becomes a black hole. We understand that, around such a vast cadaver, dimensions work a little differently in death to the way we’re used to in life. For example, light cannot escape the pull of a black hole when it hits the point of no return. That’s where it gets its colour. Space itself is contorted by a black hole. That’s where it gets its funny shape. Even time. Time slows right down the closer you get to it. The closer you get to a black hole. The closer you get to death.
