Her hand felt warm in mine as we strolled the crisp Chicago night and Lake Michigan gave us every bit of mid October. We left a good dinner and spirits just off the Magnificent Mile. Her eyes locked on mine and told me to give her just a little tenderness. I was quite scared, say the least. This dating pool did not make it easy to just let go. I gave her a concerned look and said, " you not one to catch flights and leave my feelings melting in my hands?" She smiled, but didn't answer the question. She said, "Jermaine, tell me an ole-fashioned love story, please!"

At that moment, I was caught into a phase as she batted her natural eyelashes and bit her seductive lips and a facial expression as if she would die if I didn't. Somehow, Prince was playing in the background and I couldn't pass the moment. I said, " You ever hear of the story about the lady with the flat tire?" She gave a look on her face as if I was about to deliver a lame story and hit me on my shoulder and said, "You can do much better, Jay!" I said to her, "I didn't have enough time to tell her about the story we were currently making, so she would have to settle for the flat tire!" Her eyebrow arched with a look of curiosity and she said, "let's hear it!" as she shoved me with her shoulder.

Well, Steven was driving through a passing town with slight rain and hours left on his trip, he decided to make a pit stop to get some rest. Steven was driving all day and after passing the tenth billboard advertising food, he submitted to the temptation and decided to stop in the nearest local town. The rain started to pick up and the hour was growing dark. Steven, always a fan of local and not chain diners, spotted a quite little spot just below the hill. Coming up on the should, a stranded car with its hazards blinking, and a lady inside on the phone. He stopped to see if he could aid the stranded motorist and tapped on the window. The window slowly came down to a confused and restless lady who had the look of disappointment on her face. Steven said, "you need help changing that?" She replied, " I don't have a spare! My ex took it out last month and said he was going to replace it. I called roadside service and they cannot dispatch a tow truck for another three hours." Steven said, "Hop in, its getting dark and the rain is picking up! Its not safe out here!"

She trusted Steven's eyes and the cold weather gave her every reason to step into his warm vehicle. They stopped at the local diner that Steven had his eye on. She said, "I'm Tracy by the way and the Seabass is great here!" ?Steven replied, "Well you have time for some until the tow truck comes, my treat!" "How nice!" Tracy replies. "They don't make them like you anymore!" "Like what...." Steven replies. "The nice and gentlemen type" Tracy said with a tried voice as if all the good men fell of the planet.

They Sat down and started with coffee and ice-breaking conversation. The dinner came and the conversation last for hours. Tracy forgot about the tow truck service as she received a call from the driver. Steven said, "Let me drive you back to your car!" Tracy was overwhelmed with Steven's kindness and invited him over to stay. Steven declined and told Tracy that he is currently involved and have to rest before making the next town in the morning.

Kelly interrupted Jermaine and said, "Wait a minute! He sounds too perfect!" As the Lake Michigan wind blew across Kelly's face, Jermaine wiped a tear from her face and told her how much he loved her. Kelly saw the look on his face and knew that he wanted to play music for the rest of his life just for her.
