History both ancient and modern are full of great people, both men and women of exceptional gifts and qualities they worked on and were well known in their era for their achievements, some for centuries after their departures. Put in another way, they came, they saw, they worked and they conquered.

Yet, the world didn’t stand still for them after their departure, another set of men and women took over and were working and conquering to this very day, and so shall it remain till they kingdom come. Each generation and century has their own problems, headaches and solutions were found by humans and life goes on.

There’s no achievement in whatever field that would be so great that humanity would be lost without you. This planet is just like classroom, as you move o the next class, another takes your place. So, next time your vanity gene began to misbehave that you start taking yourself too seriously, think of. While on it, reminiscence about all the great that had:

All the horses, carts, money, wives and slaves that were no more.

All the wise men that used their wisdom to save many, helped many, achieved a lot without corresponding returns that we’re no more.

All the military men, men of valor that fought hundreds of wars, achieved hundreds of feats that we’re no more.

All the religious men and women that sacrificed earthly pleasures to save souls that were no more.

All the great inventors that their never die spirits and unrelenting efforts made life easier for me and you that we’re no more.

All the doctors, seers, prophets that battled under light and darkness to keep their fellow humans alive that we’re no more.

All the wright brothers that made the modern world really modern for us that were no more.

All the motherfuckers, mental drained idiots like Jack the Ripper, Osama, Amin and bloody Mary that made life unlivable to their fellow humans that were no more.

If you argue that the few mentioned were ancient beings, try modern in your parents and grandparents that were no more all that grand to you now. Modern history is seen everyday in televisions and this morning in our lives. Your classmates most exceptional during your days, some even gone.

There is nothing that doesn’t have expiry date visible and invisible stamped on it. Humans, Animals, Trees, problems, happiness and sadness etc.

It’s of no use being extreme in any thing, Earth is not a soccer pitch where forces beyond your control dropped you to battle it out with Gurus that you were no match to. No one was born Guru, they all grow into Guruness through taking first steps and sticking to it like glue.

Never pay attention to those creatures that claimed, teach and impress it on people that their stars were out of alignment.

No, those creatures were deceivers, hushpuppies of our time that would soon be history.

Your stars are on alignment when you are not poking your nose into another man’s business uninvited calling it community policing.

Your stars are on alignment when you know that anything good don’t come with headaches.

Your stars are on alignment when you learn how not to turn yourself into another man’s cashier in your house calculating every day how much another man is making from his business he struggled to establish. Start yours.

Your stars are on alignment when you learn that action is needed to bring dreams and prayers in reality.

Your stars are on alignment when you know that the scale you use in weighing your neighbors would be the same scale use to weigh you.

Your stars are on alignment when you realised that in this world, soldiers go, soldiers come. No one is indispensable.

Your stars are on alignment when you know that each season has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. No bad or good last forever.

Your stars are on alignment when you learn how to prioritize your needs and wants and stick to your plans of attaining them.

Your stars are on alignment when you know that no one is responsible for your actions but you and you alone.

Yeah, your stars are on alignment when learned that death is inevitable and prepare yourself for it.

Wisdom advised us to try our best and leave the rest to heaven. They never shirk their responsibilities.

Work without expecting praise, if they come, welcome them with both hands. Be true to yourself and your work, whatever happens, never you love whatever you do more than the owners of the work. Behaviors like that breeds acrimony. If you drop dead this moment, that firm, company would not foldup. Work when it is time, and play when it time. Over hustle life is stupidity.
