A Thousand Years
Just to see Her Smile!
Took a moment to draw a picture on the wall! Remembered your smile like yesterday, but the time has slipped and there went three summers and two falls!
Drove to the store long passed the middle of the night! Many days speaking of you, in my mind I made many plans of taking a dedicated flight!
Still couldn’t get off that smiles of yours, so don’t confuse the tears. Just know that I was put here to stay many years! However one could place it, or even write a story to pretend, I could give you years to the very end!
Now, I have to sit here with a pain of only think of your smile! Waiting these years, there’s no comparison and to see another, I would dare to go another mile!
Yes, tomorrow will be a different day! However, I will still think of your same beautiful smile! Yet, so far away, but when I see your smile, it’s like being next to you! Unlock your heart to me because no other would do.
Wait a minute! Had to put my car keys down because I didn’t wanna give the image of fool driving around aimlessly in town! Just a post ago I had take another minute, thought of your smile and luv I needed to win it!
I saw that salt n pepper hair, and didn’t care to stare! If you choose not to smile, I think the world start to freeze because the sun wouldn’t glare!
You smiled, a thousand songs came on the radio! Told the others if they didn’t give a good reason, for your smile I had to go!
Sun came down and I was still roaming all over town, thought of your smile and it was like another thousand years quickly came around! Driving for a thousand years and for you to never come around, is far better than not moving an inch and being scared of getting turned down!
However, it takes a special person just to drive a thousand years. Took Jacob to work all those nights to find out he had to work just a bit more! So driving to you would be a miraculous score! As Jacob labor and his dedication for love lasted throughout the years, I’m just checking if I have enough gas to make it a thousand years!
I know, I know; this was the least of your expectations! Why choose someone who is incapable of leading your heart to the correct destination?
This was short, with the intent for you to read and pounder about! Just know that my dedication is something once taste, you can’t live without!
Actions speak louder than words, but for now, I’ll just keep my cool and continue to speak! It’s almost scary to see my love interest for a deserving woman take its highest peak.
So having said that, I must direct you to the warning label. Yet to worry about what needs to be brought to an imaginary table. I’m hot or cold and there is no in between! I guess this is why I’m still alone and give less time to the dating scene!
However, a thousand years is just a drop in the bucket! There’s never a true measure on time and shame to the soul who plays with time because one who’s willing to pay the priceless cost, is not just here for the luck of it!
I care to be with you and you to be with me! A thousand years is just a moment in time, but what’s the use of counting if there’s no you or me?

Death is a black hole. Think about it. A black hole is the corpse of a star, something once warm and bright, now come to the end of its life cycle. But some will argue that the cycle of life does not end with death. That death is merely another path we must walk once our bodies expire and our souls ascend. In that moment, when the fuel in the star’s chemical tank hits empty and the shiny matte coat explodes into supernova, the mass left behind – the corpse – becomes a black hole. We understand that, around such a vast cadaver, dimensions work a little differently in death to the way we’re used to in life. For example, light cannot escape the pull of a black hole when it hits the point of no return. That’s where it gets its colour. Space itself is contorted by a black hole. That’s where it gets its funny shape. Even time. Time slows right down the closer you get to it. The closer you get to a black hole. The closer you get to death.
