What’s up, I’m Jay, I’m one of the top Djs in the DMV area. But enough about me, this story is about how I met, this beautiful bombshell, and the obstacles I’ve had to endure to not only win her heart but, make her my wife to be.

But let’s take a step back to how we met…

It was another day at the office, at this club out D.C. I had the club rockin’ with the tracks, I was droppin. I would usually have a female come on stage and dance with the DJ. However, this night was different. So dropped Chris Brown’s No Guidance, grabbed the mic and announced, “Who trying to dance with the DJ?” A lot of females was trying to come on stage but, one caught my attention.

To describe her, would hard because a beauty like hers was indescribable. She had on black leggings, high heels and a halter top to match the color of her shoes, so baby had style. I picked her out to come on stage.

When she came on stage, I can tell she was different. I grabbed her hand and we started to dance. Her vibe and my vibe were so in sync. You thought we was doing a music video. As soon as we were finished, I ask her for her name, she looked at me with a smile and whispered Jasmine. I said it was nice to meet her and that she had some nice moves on her. She said “you got some nice moves too, Mr.Synatra”. I asked her may I take her out on a date sometime. Now all I kept thinking was, “Please God, be single, let her not have a boyfriend”. Then she asked me for my phone, she placed her number in my phone and kissed me on the cheek. I was shocked and I must have blushed so much, I couldn’t stop smiling and I was trying to stop myself from blushing so much, because for a brotha to be blushing the way I did , you could’ve called me barney the dinosaur.

She must have noticed because she said, “aww, your so cute”. She told me to call her sometime. I smiled and told her “I will.”

So, after I had hit her up, we spoke and got to know each other. Now here is when things got interesting, for your boy. She asked me out on a date. Now usually it is the guy, that asks but, like I said this woman was different. She was direct, down-to-earth and 420 friendly. So, I agreed, she told me to meet her at an address she sent me a text and made the date for the weekend. Little did I know, I was not expecting the roller coaster ride we was about to get in.

The First Date

I drove to the address to where she told me to meet her at. To my surprise, it was a shooting range. Now in the back of my mind, I’m like okay? I was not judging but was curious to see what she was on for choosing this place. So, I walk in and I’m seeing a group of people watching someone shoot. I walk over and see her shooting off. I see it was her shooting her targets at pinpoint accuracy. All I can think was “Damn, this chick shoots like she’s in a John Wick movie”. She saw me and walk over, gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. So, I was like “I see you know what you are doing with that heat,”.

Jasmine said “I do alright, let me see what you got, lol “. I said to her “Girl, they call me QuickDraw on the streets”. I picked up the gun, took my aim and fired however I missed. Jasmine started to laugh and stared to walk over to me and help me with my aim. I will say she smelled so good like strawberries and cantaloupe on a hot summer day. Without knowing or paying attention to what she was saying because I was so mesmerized by her, I shot at the target and hit the bullseye. She was like “good job, see it’s not that hard”, however she just does not know how hard it can be.

Later that day…

So, Jasmine and I, decided to get dinner and a movie. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings, and everything was going good until our waiter came. This dude looked like Michael B. Jordan wannabe. While he was serving us, dud was trying his hardest to get her attention. I mean I asked for a refill, and he kept ignoring me but, was quick to bring out Jasmine’s drink and food. And here I am, waiting my refill since I first got my drink. So, I walked up to the waiter and asked him” yo bruh, what happened to my refill and where is my food?” So, this Joker looked me up and down and was like “My bad homie, ya food was getting remade, one of the waiters had accidentally dropped it”. So, I was like “Okay, so how long till it’s finished, because it’s been like 30min now?” All sudden, the waiter got mad that I was asking a lot of questions. He was like “Look bruh, I don’t know what spots your used to going to but you’re not about to question me”. So, I just knew at that moment I was going to cause a scene.

So, I got loud when he got loud, and I asked him “Let me see the manager now!” Then he was like “I am the manager”. I was like “that’s one quick ass promotion, what did you do call yourself in the office and tell yourself you’re the manager now?” Everyone started laughing. Then I overheard Jasmine, calling me to the table and when I walked over, I saw my food with my refill. Then I had this weird feeling that I was getting stared at. I turned around to see the waiter with the evilest stare, like dude was ready to rumble. I told Jasmine “Can you get a box for me, because I have a feeling, I’m about to fight”. Jasmine stated while laughing and said, “fight who?” So, she saw the waiter walking over with an angry look. So Jasmine was like “Boy, if you don’t sit down and eat your food, so we can make the movie.” I began to sit down, and the waiter walked over to the table and told us that we had to leave in the next 5min. So, I looked at Jasmine and she looked at me with this smirk. The waiter slammed the bill on the table, and after he walked away, we both got up and walked quickly out the front. We ran to the car, before the waiter could notice we skipped out on the bill. We drove out and can see the waiter chasing after the car.

Later that evening…

After our get away from BDubbs, we went to the movies to see the new Bad Boys for life movie. When we got there, we just made it to the showing at 8:30 for Bad Boys. So we got our tickets, and everything was going well... Or so I thought...

When get got inside the theater, we got to our seats and the movie had just started. About thirty minutes into the movie and all sudden, this dude behind us kept laughing too damn loud. I tried to ignore it, but dude kept laughing loud. I was thinking to myself like” Is someone going to say something?” So, I turned around and told dude “Yo bruh, can you keep it down? “So then he was like “Nigga turn around and watch the movie” So I’m thinking “I could whoop his ass but, I’m on a date and I don’t want to get us kicked out because Jasmine was really enjoying it.” I tried to leave it alone, but it did not make it no better that dude had his girl with him. She was louder than him with the laughing. So, I’m seeing Cherry’s face getting irritated, so I turned back around and asked them both “Excuse could the both of yall keep it down, now I asked nicely”. So, his chick was like “Didn’t my man, tell you to turn around and shut up?” Before I could say anything, Cherry turned around and said, “Look I don’t what is yall’s problem but, yall need to be quiet and let us all hear the movie”. So dude got up, with his chest out saying “Look chick.. ,” Before he could say another word, I got up and told him “ Yo bruh , you need to watch your mouth, you talking to a woman .” He looked me up and down and said, “Is that what you are?” So, his chick started laughing, and Cherry got up and said, “Who in the hell are you laughing at?” Jasmine continued to say, “What we should be laughing at is those dark ass kneecaps!” Everyone started laughing, which made the dude make a move towards Jasmine. My Spidey-senses reacted with the quickness and I punched the dude out cold. So, then his girl was about to retaliate towards me but, Jasmine grabbed her hand and reached for her hair and it turned out to be a bad wig. Jasmine launched her hair to the balcony. The girl screamed out “My hair!!!” She ran to get it and then the usher told us we had to leave. We both tried to explain what happened but by then the manager of the theater had came and told us we had to leave, or they would have to call the police. So, we left the theater, and when we both got in the car, we both busted out laughing at what happened. I drove Jasmine back to her place, since she had taken a uber to meet me at the gun range earlier. On the way, I could not help to feel that the date became a disaster. I mean we ran out of BDubbs and got kicked out the movies. We pulled up to her place, I got out and walked her to her door. I took a deep sigh and said “Cherry?” She looked up and said “Yes?” I said, “Look I can understand, if you don’t want to hang out with me anymore”. She said, “What do you mean?” I said, “Well we ran out the restaurant without paying and got kicked out the movies. I feel bad and I really wanted this to be a perfect date for us.” She smiled and said, “I actually had a good time, and the movie theater thing wasn’t your fault”. She also said, “that was really brave of you to step up to that guy.” I started to blush and said, “Well a beautiful woman, should always know that she is protected by the man she’s with.” She started to blush and we both laughed and then we stared at each other for a good ten seconds. Then we moved closer to each other and I got a little nervous but, she grabbed my chin and kissed me. This was no ordinary kiss though. This was that I am really feeling you kiss. After we kissed, we looked at each other and smiling hard. I asked her “So I can’t wait until the second date”. She had this seductive look and gave me a peck on the lips and said, “neither can I”. Then she said to call her this week to set it up. We kissed each and gave each other a big hug. As I walked back to my car, I just sat there and just had to take it all in. I mean I knew what we both wanted, but she was different than most women. It is because of that, which made me want to wait until it was the right time. I mean why rush it when I can learn to get to know her more. All I know is needed a very cold shower, because of that kiss. I will say this though. I could not wait until The Second Date.
