3 Most Talked About Things Pres. Tinubu Said at Recent Event

Nigerian president President Bola Tinubu hosted the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council to the 2024 Ramadan Iftar at the State House on Wednesday, in Abuja. During the event, the president gave a speech to the room full of his supporters and party members.

During his speech, President Tinubu talked about a number of things, most specifically about the inflation, rising cost of goods, and the economy. Here are 3 key things people are taking the most away from the things that President Tinubu said.

1. There's No Magic Wand.

Speaking about why the work of getting Nigeria to where it needs to be and where he promised during his campaign, President Tinubu said to his party members and the nation:

PRESIDENT TINUBU: It is the hard job that you promised the people of Nigeria when you were campaigning for me, you promised them a good result, didn't you? That's it. I have to work for it. No magic wand.

2. The Economy is Looking Good, Don't Worry About Inflation

Speaking on the economy, rising cost of goods and cost of living, and the general rise in inflation, President Tinubu said:

PRESIDENT TINUBU: I campaigned on hope. I have to rest on that hope, and push for that hope for the joy of everyone of us. The economy is looking good, don't worry about that. Don't have worry about it. Yes, we have the challenge of inflation, it's okay. We'll bring it down.

3. We Are Taking Our Respect Back Around the World

Finally, speaking about actions he's taking, President Tinubu assured us that he's working saying:

PRESIDENT TINUBU: We are re-engineering. Our revenue is getting better, and we are taking our sovereignty and respect back around the world. Not that we have to go there and hire them to have to do the jobs for us, we are doing it ourselves.

Whatever is happening to us, we have to solve it by ourselves. It is your effort, your thinking, your resourcefulness, your investment, your dedication, and hard work that can only get us there.
