2020 Roundup: Our Favorite Instagram Farmhouse Influencers
We've scoured the Insta-world for the BEST farmhouse decor influencers of 2020.
We've spent a lot of time on Instagram this year, and we mean A LOT. With the pandemic shutting down so much of the outside world and needing a bit of escapism from the realities of every day life, social media has really provided us with a nice escape. One of our favorite corners of the Instagram world in 2020 was the home decor community, and especially the farmhouse decor space! So we've gathered up our FAVORITE farmhouse decor influencers of 2020, and seriously, you need to follow all of these amazing people!
Elaine - NC Modern Farmhouse Design
Elaine from NC Modern Farmhouse Design has created a beautiful modern farmhouse that makes us green with envy! This festive exterior shot is just the tip of the iceberg. What originally attracted us to her home was the grand exterior design with the black trim and the large wooden pillars on the front porch. We imagined ourselves rocking on that front porch with a hot cup of tea and some good friends more times than we can remember.
She also has an amazing outdoor fireplace setup with cozy blankets and the cutest fireplace design we've seen. Check out her profile on Instagram and tour her beautiful home, we promise you won't regret it.
Tamara - Bridge Way Designs
Tamara's page has been one that we've been following for a LONG time. She really embodies the classic modern farmhouse decor feel! Joanna Gaines would be so proud. She usually features a cozy and fun chunky blanket and her color schemes for each season are always on point! Just looking at the one photo from her profile above, you can see why we love her house. It gives off a welcoming and warm vibe, and she is so talented with how she puts all of her decor pieces together, and doesn't make the room feel too crowded or busy.
Besides her beautiful home and cozy decor, she has SUCH a sense of humor! Most of her captions include at least a few jokes that make us smile and really help to brighten up our day.
We've noticed that Tamara has been showing more and more shots of a cute little sitting nook in her home that features an almost boho-inspired egg chair that we would probably sit in and never get out of. Definitely visit her profile and show her some love for all of the work she puts in every day!
Stephanie - The Seasoned Home
If you're looking to add a little bit of coziness to your Instagram feed, look no further than Stephanie with @the_seasoned_home! We think her home is one of the most classic farmhouses we see on Instagram, even though it isn't on an actual farm! All of her rooms give off the true feelings that a farmhouse should, coziness, warmth, and welcome. You should feel welcome in every room in a farmhouse, and Stephanie has achieved this hands down.
We love her home all year round, but it really takes on a brand new feel during Christmas time. Stephanie is a Christmas expert if we've ever seen one. Her use of lights and greenery both inside and outside the home make us feel like we are on the set of a Hallmark movie, and there's nothing better than that!
One of our favorite decor pieces in her home is the huge wagon wheel chandelier she has in her family room, which is featured in many photos you can see on her page. If that doesn't make you feel like you're in a farmhouse, nothing will.
Bonnie - Boulder Park Farmhouse
This gorgeous farmhouse kitchen from Bonnie at Boulder Park Farmhouse is just one of the many reasons she made our list for 2020! There is something almost indescribable about the beauty in her home. From this elegant and yet rustic kitchen to her whimsical holiday bathrooms, we couldn't ask for anything more.
Focusing on her kitchen here, we adore those large brass pendant lights that are really a focal point of this space. We think if you are going to add a statement piece to your kitchen, especially for a farmhouse decor look, the pendant lights or the oven hood are the best places to start. The oven hood draws the eye to where most of the cooking will happen, and really helps us focus on the warmth of a kitchen and remind us of all the delicious meals that are made. On the other hand, when gorgeous statement pendant lights like these ones are used, and especially when they are placed over an island, they really help to make the space feel larger by drawing our eyes upwards. It also gives depth to the kitchen by almost creating a separate space on the other side of the lights.
