This season of the year is intended for parties organized with co-workers. These can be very fun and beautiful if everyone behaves exemplary, but at the same time, they can be a real disaster, if you do not take into account certain rules related to good manners.

Unfortunately, most of the time, this type of party leaves much to be desired, because the world feels the spirit of the holidays and forgets that this event is still one for service. Thus, by not following the simple rules of conduct, their careers can be irreparably affected.

To help employees, we've put together a list of 10 things no one should do at a Christmas party.

Don't stay home

Maybe you have something else planned for that night or maybe you just don't feel like it, but that doesn't mean you don't have to show up for a few hours at the long-awaited party.

The moment you choose to stay home, you demonstrate the detachment you feel towards the company, which will surely be noticed by both the boss and the subordinates.

Don't dress inappropriately

Even if you get along well with your co-workers, that doesn't mean you have to dress up for a club night at the company's Christmas party.

It is preferable to dress decently, without exceeding the measure, because you risk being gossiped about. You have to give up dresses that are too short or too tight because they are suitable for going out with friends in the club.

Don't get drunk

Limited alcohol consumption is a simple and very important rule that many employees forget to follow. If you feel that this way you can have fun, you can drink, but everything must be done in moderation.

It is very important in such a party to stay lucid, to be able to talk and behave normally until the end, so as not to leave a wrong impression about you.

It doesn't look like you're bored

Body language can say a lot about your mood. The moment you start earning, sitting on the phone for too long, or constantly looking at your watch, the world around you will notice because such behavior is not specific to a big party.

Don't be antisocial

Even if you despise your colleagues or are new to the company, that doesn't mean you have to sit in a corner all night and not talk to anyone. Communicate, make friends, because this event can be a great opportunity to make new friends.

Don't gossip

Don't gossip about your co-workers with your co-workers, because you don't know how someone can hear you and you'll be categorized as gossip. In addition, avoid talking about sex, personal and intimate matters, politics, or religion.

Don't forget to eat

If you go to a party with the thought of drinking, it is very important not to forget to eat, so as not to be hurt by alcohol.

Don't flirt

Most of the time, people flirt at Christmas parties as a result of alcohol consumption. This type of party is not the ideal place for such "statements", because both the boss and his co-workers will change their minds about you a lot. Avoid drinking alcohol if you know you can't control yourself under their influence.

Do not post indecent photos

If you know you're the kind of person who always posts pictures of parties on social media, do so at the beginning of the party, to avoid out-of-print positions or pictures. In addition, refrain from malicious comments about the party on Facebook or Instagram.

Don't go out of your way

Usually, parties come with a lot of fun, debauchery, and madness, but these elements need to be kept under control in the event of a party organized by the company you work for. Don't try to stand out, because you don't know how things can go wrong.
