The woman, named Sarah, was travelling to the city for a New Year's Eve celebration and had booked a room at the luxurious hotel. She was excited to spend the night in comfort and luxury, but as she settled into her room, she noticed something was amiss. The phone, which she had tried to use to order food, wouldn't connect to the reception. She tried several times, but there was no answer.

As the night wore on, Sarah began to feel uneasy. The silence of the hotel was oppressive, and the lack of response from the reception was starting to scare her. Suddenly, she heard a knocking sound coming from the wall next to her bed. At first, she thought it was just the pipes, but the knocking persisted.

Panicking, Sarah tried to call the reception again, but the phone was still dead. She ran to the door and opened it, only to find the hallway empty and silent. She quickly closed the door and locked it, her heart racing. The knocking on the wall continued, growing louder and more insistent.

Sarah started to feel trapped. She didn't know what to do or who to turn to for help. She tried to calm herself, but the sound from the wall was getting louder and more frightening. She decided to take a look around the hotel to see if anyone else was there, but the floor was completely empty.

As she walked back to her room, Sarah suddenly felt a cold hand grab her shoulder from behind. She screamed and turned around, only to find a dark figure standing in front of her. The figure was wearing a cloak and had no face, only a pair of glowing red eyes.

Sarah was frozen with fear. The figure didn't speak, but it gestured for her to follow it. She reluctantly obeyed, following the figure down a dark, twisting staircase that led to a basement. There, she found a group of people huddled together, looking scared and desperate.

The figure led Sarah to the group, and as she approached, she realized that they were all missing one thing – their faces. Just like the figure that had led her there, these people were faceless and had glowing red eyes.

Suddenly, the walls started to close in, and the group was trapped. The faceless figures started to chant, and Sarah could feel the room filling with a dark energy. She realized that the hotel was haunted by the spirits of those who had died there on New Year's Eve, and they had come to claim another victim.

Sarah's screams echoed through the hotel as she was consumed by the dark energy, joining the ranks of the faceless spirits. The knocking on the wall ceased, and the hotel was once again silent. But for those who dared to stay the night, the ghostly sounds of Sarah's screams and the faceless spirits could still be heard, a haunting reminder of the dangers that lay within the walls of the hotel.

The next morning, the reception was flooded with calls from guests who had fled the hotel in the middle of the night, reporting strange sounds and mysterious disappearances. The hotel was eventually shut down and abandoned, and it became a popular spot for thrill-seekers looking for a ghostly adventure. But no one who entered the hotel ever returned, and the faceless spirits remained trapped within its walls, waiting for their next victim to join them in the afterlife.
