The Error Code That Knew My Name
The Error Code That Knew My Name It was 2:00 AM when my house told its first lie. People say technology is soulless—that it has a brain made of silicon but no heart to feel. But that night, when my Aegis Home System detected motion under my bed and sent a notification reading: "Guest detected in Master Bedroom," I realized that a 'digital soul' is far more terrifying than a human one. I held my breath, paralyzed in the dark, knowing I was supposed to be alone.

The Sorrel-Weed House Hauntings
There are places where history settles into the walls so deeply that it begins to feel less like memory and more like presence, where the past does not simply exist as a record, but as something that lingers, shifts, and occasionally reveals itself in ways that defy explanation. In the heart of Savannah, Georgia, a city long associated with ghost stories and layered history, the Sorrel–Weed House stands as one of the most enduring and unsettling examples of this phenomenon. A location where accounts of paranormal activity have not only persisted for generations but appear to have continued into the present day.

A FOREST SO EVIL, IT IS ILLEGAL TO ENTER
In the early 1900s, Dr William C. Clark and his wife, Harriet, were searching for the perfect place to build a second home. While driving through the rolling hills of northwestern Connecticut’s Litchfield County, they stumbled upon something that felt almost enchanted—a vast, shadow-drenched forest perched high on a mountainside.

The Elephant Beneath the Therapy Room. Content Warning.
The Elephant Beneath the Therapy Room My old house sat in the middle of nowhere, not in the poetic sense people use when they want to sound interesting, but in the real sense, where the road turned to dirt, the dirt turned to clay, and the clay became a long red scar through scrub, lantana, termite mounds and old fence lines that had forgotten what they were ever trying to keep in or out.

I Found a Livestream of My Own Living Room
I Found a Livestream of My Own Living Room The blue light of my laptop was the only thing keeping the shadows of my apartment at bay. It was 2:14 AM. I was scrolling through an obscure forum dedicated to "unexplained internet glitches" when I saw a link titled: 02:14: LIVE.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident: The Mystery No Expert Can Explain
The Frozen Enigma: The Unsolved Mystery of Dyatlov Pass In the winter of 1959, ten experienced hikers set out on a journey into the Ural Mountains of Soviet Russia. They were young, fit, and skilled. Airbnb. Content Warning.
A Weekend Away: What a great idea. An Airbnb four on a high remote spot in the Pennines. Admittedly, the drive up was torturous, but they got there and eventually got the keys out of the key locker to get into the place. It was a single-story building, and the views were amazing.

Motel Smoke Screener. Top Story - April 2026.
Freddy was never the same after that night. What he saw there stuck in the motel like that, not knowing if he would ever get out with his phone slowly dying in the process with me as his only lifeline to the outside world left. If only I had never jokingly said he is a punk unless he stays there for a night. The way he took up on that so quickly, texting me this video of knives flying around the abandoned motel.

Nightfox Reports: There’s an App for That
File this under “never whistle while you piss”, because apparently people are just not paying attention thanks to cell phones. In the news you do not hear on the radio or from the television this week, all across Los Angeles and possibly around the world cell phone users are stopping dead in their tracks and chanting, seemingly in a trance. They are doing it apparently at random and often in situations that are dangerous, like while crossing busy streets or while driving on the freeway. Reports of several fatalities in the news indicate the entranced phone users stood still as they were struck by honking cars or drove their own vehicles straight into trees, other vehicles, or over cliffs. Victims of this trance have no memory of it happening but some have reported later having strange dreams they cannot describe or fully remember that nonetheless terrified them. They are noticeably weak and fatigued after being in the trance and seem to be totally unaware of their environment or any physical sensations. At least three victims seem to have been robbed while under the trance and one female victim in Hollywood was apparently sexually assaulted while chanting in the parking lot of a nightclub. None of these victims have any memory of the attacks against them and only know they were victimized because of clothes and other possessions in disarray or missing entirely upon coming out of the trance.

The Mystery of The SS Ourang Medan: The Ghost Ship That Killed Its Crew for No Reason
February 1947: Somewhere in the Strait of Malacca: The radio operator on the Silver Star picks up a fragmented transmission. He writes down what he can make out: All of the officers, including the captain, are dead and lying in the chartroom and on the bridge. The entire crew may be dead.

The 2026 Northeast Ohio Flap
There are moments when a place becomes active in a way that defies easy explanation, when a series of events occurs so close together in time and space that coincidence begins to feel insufficient as an answer. In early March of 2026, such a moment unfolded across parts of northeast Ohio, specifically in the wooded, rural stretches of Portage and Trumbull Counties. Over the course of just a few days, multiple witnesses, independent of one another, reported encounters with something large, upright, and profoundly unsettling.
