Best Horror Movies On Netflix Right Now
The horror genre is certainly the most out of the ordinary and less loved in the world of film. Even though it's the one genre where many people wouldn't dare to watch, there are certainly people out there who religiously watch horror movies. We all can use a good scare every now and then, right? Scary movies aren't real... actually there are a good amount of them that are based on real events. Anyways, horror films have a place in so many people's hearts that we're always looking for good creepy movies to watch—and Netflix definitely has the good stuff.

What are the Monsters in 'A Quiet Place?'
John Krasinski from NBC's The Office as Jim Halpert, will direct and star in an upcoming horror film called A Quiet Place, premiering on April 6th, 2018. The movie is about a family living an abandon farm while strange supernatural monstrous beings roman the earth killing or destroying anything that makes any sound whatsoever. Very quickly the U.S Military is wiped out and the U.S government, as well as all other governments and armies throughout the world, collapse. People around the world are doomed to survive on their own.

5 Movies That You Can Get Your Scaredy-Cat Friends to Watch
If your friends are anything like mine, it's an extreme challenge to get them to watch any sort of horror movie. I always seem to get roped into watching some type of slap-stick comedy or superhero-flooded action flick. The movies on this list should be spooky enough for the horror fan to enjoy while sane enough to keep the peace between your friends.

'Bad Moon'
Based on the novel Thor by Wayne Smith, Bad Moon is one of those horror films that I feel was not given the credit it deserved at the time of its release. Good reviews of it are hard to come by and it seems to have been largely forgotten but in this review, I'm going to tell you why, if you love a good werewolf film, you should give it a shot, and not of the silver bullet variety.

3 Main Reasons Why the New Halloween Will Be the Best Since the Original
What are the three main reasons, you ask? Jamie Lee Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis! Just kidding. She is absolutely one of the main reasons, but there is a lot more going on with this sequel. Will this be the sequel that Halloween fans deserve? Yes! I really do think this is it. And the studios owe it to us after that bullshit they threw in our face during Halloween: Resurrection. Just like this movie, let's just pretend that never happened.

Should You Enter the 'House on Haunted Hill' (1999)?
To those who were there: The year 1999 seemed fantastical, didn't it? Life sucked in some key ways, but one could just feel the potential of the new millennium. We could almost reach out and touch it; we'd have flying cars everywhere, social strife would surely be ameliorated, and boredom nearly obliterated.

Common Man's View: 'The Ritual'
I call it a common man's review because I have no experience as a critic, no mastery of language to make me a great wordsmith, and no power over my own mind to breakthrough my own opinions. With that being said, I am torn between having great admiration for horror creators and their creations, and myself being possessed of an unending well of fear. One might dive into my psyche and see every horror movie I have ever seen still tearing at the edges of my sanity every night as I lie in bed.

The Worst Horror Movies of All Time
Horror, as a genre, has a lot of bad movies that have been released—perhaps more so than any other film genre out there. Part of this is because it takes a lot of creativity and (in most cases) a lot more money to actually create a film that's scary, thought-provoking, and timeless.

Feminist Horror
It seems as though all horror movies today are either tired remakes of classic favourites or unnecessary origin stories of the torturous men whose infamy defined said classics. These movies rely heavily on overly sexualized and objectified women (see: Jessica Biel in Texas Chainsaw Massacre), who will face almost inevitable sexual assault to some degree, and over the top gore which adds nothing to the plot (see: Evil Dead remake).
