The summer sun beat down on Maya's apartment, turning it into a sticky oven. Bored out of her mind with classes on break, she scrolled through endless social media feeds, her thumbs numb from the repetitive swiping. A notification popped up – a private message on a forum she rarely ventured into - "The Labyrinth." It was a niche community for enthusiasts of obscure online games, a world she hadn't explored much. Curiosity piqued, she clicked on the message.

THIS OCEAN WATER IS MORE DANGEROUS THAT SULFURIC ACID
An anvil cloud is a big cloud made of ice particles. It forms at the top of tall thunderstorms or huge cumulonimbus clouds. The flat top shape is caused by rising air in the storm. The air spreads out when it hits the stratosphere. That's why it's called an anvil. The air from the anvil cloud is cooler, which keeps it from going higher. You can spot anvil clouds from far away, sometimes over 100 miles. Just like the tool metal workers use, they have a distinctive shape

Reed Alexander FINALLY reviews the greatest movie of all time 'Alien' (1979)
You may know that I occasionally do spoof reviews. Like my review of Detective Heart of America: The Final Freedom (2015), where I jokingly explain why an intentionally bad movie is literally god's gift to cinema and modern culture. Here's the thing about my love for Alien (1979), I think it IS a gift to cinema and modern culture. No god required. I will die on the hill that this is the greatest movie of all time. Note, not the greatest horror movie, the greatest movie period. I love it that much.

4 scary deep woods horror stories. Content Warning.
When I was a kid, my great-grandma would always sign us up for Christian camp near Stevens Pass in Washington. Despite the Christian themes, I had a lot of fun there, even if there were some strict rules. The campground was tucked away behind a remote dirt road, with a large field and endless stretches of forest beyond that. The staff cabins were at the edge of the road, and the camper cabins were further north, some nestled in the woods and others next to the field. The communal bathrooms were quite large. The camp focused on local history, which I never cared much about. The cabins were named after Washington cities, except the oldest one called the Dean's cabin. There were always stories and myths about the cabins being haunted or people dying there, which were exciting at first but got old after a while.
