If you're anything like me, there's a good chance that you are either a horror movie fan or frequently find yourself surrounded by people who are (I am the latter, by the way). What you would want to do is find the "fine line" between having a faithful adaptation and making a highly effective horror. There would be things that get changed and altered to make them more suitable for audiences and more effective on screen.
