The board spelled out "Yes" to both questions. The friends were shocked and saddened by this revelation. They asked Elizabeth if there was anything they could do to help her find peace. The board spelled out "Justice". The friends knew that they had to try to bring Elizabeth's husband to justice for her murder. They went to the authorities with their findings and the case was reopened. After a thorough investigation, Elizabeth's husband was arrested and charged with her murder. He was found guilty and sent to prison for life. With her husband behind bars, Elizabeth's ghost was finally able to find peace. The friends never heard from her again, but they knew that she was finally at rest. The house at the end of the street was left abandoned and forgotten, a haunting reminder of the tragic events that had occurred there. The friends were glad that they were able to help Elizabeth find justice, but they would never forget the terrifying night they spent in the haunted house at the end of the street.
