Once upon a time, in the heart of a dense forest that was as far from any civilization, there stood a cabin that had been abandoned for years. The cabin had a story that a dark and eerie presence was in it and if that anyone who dared to enter it would never return.

There were many warnings but like always no one took the legend of the cabin seriously, one Friday a group of friends decided to spend a weekend at the cabin to explore the eerie legend. The cabin had been untouched for years because the people that used to own it disappeared with out a trace and everything was left inside, the cabin was in a state of disrepair. Over time the cabin practically started to fall apart, the roof had holes, the windows were broken, and the door hung off its hinges. The group of friends didn’t believe in ghosts or legends and they were extremely determined to spend the night and see if the legend was true or just a hoax.

When they entered the cabin, the friends was overcome by a sense of dread. The air was thick and musty, and the shadows seemed to dance on the walls and the cabin had an odor that smelled of death but the group of friends let their pride overtake them, and with that they decided to explore the cabin. After being in the cabin for a few minutes they decided to separate and look around, once separated strange things began to happen. Each friend individually started to experience horror of the cabin, one of the friends heard whispering in her ear telling her they weren’t going to make it out tonight, and the others saw a figures standing and moving around in the rooms.

When night time came the group of friends realized that they were not alone in the cabin. There was a ghostly presence that was not happy with the intruders and started becoming more and more aggressive, and it didn’t take long for them to realize that they were not welcome. The friends tried to leave, but it was too late like a fly stuck to a spiders web they were locked inside, the door wouldn’t open and the windows wouldn't budge. For the first time they really started to experience fear when in the beginning it was all fun and jokes.

The friends tried to defend themselves with anything and everything they could find, but it was no use they then realized it was pure evil that was not allowing them to get away. The evil of the cabin was too powerful, and it seemed to be getting stronger the more they got scared as if it was feeding off of the fear, enjoying every moment of it as if it was starving and they’re fear was a buffet. The friends then stayed in a room together and prayed for their lives and for a way out, but it was too late. The evil spirit of the cabin had claimed its before victims before sunrise.

After about a week went by no one herd back from the group of friends that went to the cabin, family and friends begin to worry and asked if some one could go see if they can find them or any signs that they’re ok. On a Friday morning a search party was sent out to find the missing friends. They searched the forest and yelled their names but there was no sign of them. When the search team finally reached the cabin, they found it empty and abandoned as if no one has been there in years, the friends were never seen or heard from again.

The search team started to have the feeling g of being watched and it started to make them feel uncomfortable then the smell of death brushed their noses and they decided to leave before something bad had happened. From that day on, the cabin was left alone, and the legend of the evil that live in the cabin presence grew stronger. Every now and then friends and couples would go visit the cabin bc of the legend and not one would make it home, after a while people started to believe the legend of the cabin and once word got around about the cabins legend being true no one dared to enter the cabin again. The evil of the cabin lingers around still waiting for the next nonbelievers to show up on its doorstep to feast on their fears.
