Heavenly Seas Chapter Four
The idea of another party made Heath heave. What was the point of being around food that he couldn’t have or refused to have? The tensions between Calvin and their mother made his heart rate accelerate. Their bickering still echoed in his head. Every time he heard glass shatter, he thought of his family.

"The Silent Caller" pt.2
The darkness was suffocating. My mind spun in a whirlwind of terror and confusion as I struggled to process what had just happened. I wasn’t alone, but I couldn’t see. My phone buzzed weakly in the pitch-black void, the screen flickering erratically. The same message repeated, over and over: "You were warned." My breath hitched, every nerve in my body on edge. Then, out of the silence, a low, guttural whisper came from everywhere and nowhere at once.

"The Silent Caller" pt.1
The phone rang at 3:17 a.m.—a number I didn’t recognize, but one I couldn’t ignore. Something about the sound felt wrong. It wasn’t just the hour or the unfamiliar number; it was the way the ringing seemed louder than it should be, like it wanted to fill every corner of my quiet apartment. I hesitated, staring at the screen, where the caller ID read only "Unknown." Against my better judgment, I answered. “Hello?” My voice cracked as I pressed the phone to my ear. For a moment, there was nothing but static, a faint crackling noise that made my skin crawl. Then, a voice—a raspy whisper, barely audible—cut through the silence. “Do you remember me?” it said. My heart skipped. “Who is this?” The line went dead, but the unease lingered. Telling myself it was just a prank, I set the phone down. As I reached to turn off the bedside lamp, the phone rang again. Same number. Same tone that felt too loud, too invasive. This time, I answered in anger. “Stop calling me!” I shouted into the receiver, but there was no static now. Just the voice, calm and unnervingly close. “I’m here.”

A Note to Die For
He walked into the room and instantly regretted everything. The place was a mess—papers strewn across the floor, a coffee mug shattered in the corner, and the sour stench of fear hanging in the air. It wasn’t the state of the room that made Alex Falco hesitate. It was the body slumped against the desk.

"The Loop Within"
The room was silent, save for the faint hum of the broken device lying on the table—a shattered phone, its screen flickering weakly. Yet, somehow, I knew it was working. The damn thing shouldn’t have worked. It was cobbled together from scavenged parts and theories that barely passed for science. And yet, there he stood.

Shadows in the Mist
The fog hung thick over the small coastal town, a veil of mystery that turned the mundane into the otherworldly. It wasn’t unusual for fog to descend in the early mornings or late evenings, but this was different. It came uninvited, lingering longer than it should, wrapping itself around buildings and creeping into every corner of the town. People whispered about it in hushed tones, their words swallowed by the mist as if it, too, were listening.

Fresh, Fast and Fried . Content Warning.
How long have we been running? It feels like hours. This is that feeling, you know, like in a dream where you are running as fast as you can and you are getting nowhere. Ashunte wants to give up, she thinks that she might and then the hand grips her shoulder tight, then the other over her mouth; glued there, more like tape than a hand.

The Knocking at the Third Door
The wind howled outside on this cold October evening, rattling the ancient windows of the deserted mansion. With a flashlight in hand, Samira, an urban adventurer, stood at the manor's door, eager to learn more about this abandoned location. The little rustle of dried leaves seemed to murmur warnings that she choose to ignore, and the air smelled of decay.
