Stolen From The Womb

Eminent danger..

Detective Jack Cooper had been on the job for over twenty years, but he had never seen a case like this.

A wealthy couple, Hallie and Steve Johnson, who could no longer have children had previously frozen some embryos upon their diagnosis.

It was the moment they were waiting. They decided to try and hired a surrogate to carry their child. A young woman named Megan seemed the ideal candidate.

Everything was going perfectly normal during the initial screening process. But, once she became pregnant, her behavior began to change.

According to the Johnsons, Megan had become increasingly paranoid and delusional. She claimed that the couple was plotting to steal her baby and that they had hired people to spy on her. The Johnsons had tried to reason with her, but she refused to listen. They had even offered to let her see a therapist, but she had refused that as well.

What the Johnsons were not aware was that Megan manoeuvred her way into being their surrogate. She did whatever necessary to get the job and has long been obsessed with Steve.

One day, Megan disappeared. The Johnsons called the police, and Detective Cooper was assigned to the case. At first, he thought that Megan had simply run away, but as he dug deeper, he began to uncover a dark and twisted plot.

It turned out that Megan had a history of mental illness. She had been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years, and her family had tried to keep her condition a secret. When the Johnsons had hired her as their surrogate, they had no idea about her troubled past.

As Detective Cooper delved deeper into Megan's history, he discovered that she had become obsessed with the idea of having a child. She had convinced herself that the Johnsons' baby was her own and that they were trying to steal it from her. Her delusions had become so strong that she had kidnapped the baby and was now on the run.

The detective knew he had to act fast. He assembled a team of officers and began scouring the city for Megan and the baby. They searched hospitals, shelters, and even the homes of Megan's friends and family members. But there was no sign of her.

Days turned into weeks, and the detective began to fear the worst. He knew that Megan was mentally unstable and that she could be capable of anything. He also knew that the longer she was on the run, the more dangerous she would become.

Then, one day, a tip came in. Someone had spotted Megan at a motel on the outskirts of town. Detective Cooper and his team rushed to the location, but when they arrived, it was too late. Megan had fled, leaving behind a trail of blood.

The detective followed the trail to a nearby park, where he found Megan sitting on a bench, holding the baby in her arms. She was covered in blood, and her eyes were wild with fear.

Detective Cooper approached her slowly, trying not to startle her. He could see that she was in a fragile state, and he didn't want to push her over the edge.

"Megan, it's okay," he said in a soothing voice. "We're here to help you. We just want to make sure that you and the baby are safe."

Megan looked up at him, and for a moment, it seemed as though she might surrender. But then her expression hardened, and she clutched the baby tighter.

"You can't have him," she said, her voice shaking. "He's mine. They can't take him away from me."

Detective Cooper knew that he had to act fast. He signaled to his team, and they moved in, surrounding Megan and the baby. It was a tense standoff, but eventually, Samantha relented. She handed over the baby.

She was sent back to the psychiatric hospital, but the Johnson’s were left traumatised by the experience. They had put their trust in a stranger, only to have their lives turned upside down by her evil intentions.
