Randonautica Scary Adventure

A few weeks ago I wrote an article on Randonautica to demystify if this application was created by the dark web. But now I have to amend part of what I wrote based on my current experience.

What is Randonautica?

Before I move forward this adventure, I want to take a few lines to explain what Randonautica is for those of you that never heard of it.

“Randonauting is the act of using the Randonautica app to generate truly random locations sourced with quantum entropy. The user can then choose to venture to these locations to see what they find. They often discover that what they see lines up with their intention, which is what they were thinking about when they generated the point. But even if this doesn’t happen, it’s a way to mindfully explore the world around them.

There are two main parts to Randonauting: exploring blind-spots, or places nearby that are outside of your conscious awareness, and experimenting with mind-matter interaction, the hypothesis that consciousness can influence the distribution of random numbers."

How The Adventure Started

The first intent of our adventure was woodworking and it brought us to a Farm in the middle of the woods. The problem was that the location of the intent was on a private property. My friend and I where actually thinking of just parking the car and head into the woods without anyone noticing. However, as there was a man working on the farm that could have seen us trespass, we decided to seek permission to walk on the property. This person was the owner of the place and denied our request. Yes, he denied and for a very good reason, this was a animal farm and after showing him the location where we needed to go, he told us that there is a fence and a bull within that location. So you could say that we did well to not trespass and ask permission to walk on his property.

Although we did not get to the location in question, there was a lot of chopped wood on the farm, so we decided to take this a successful randonautica adventure for our first run that night.

Mysterious and Dangerous was the next intent

We decided to do another intent after the first one, mysterious and dangerous. This was something that we wanted to try for a long time and a lot of my YouTube followers have asked me to try it out. This seemed like a good idea as darkness was around the corner.

The adventure took us to a location that was about 30min drive away from the first intent point. As we arrived to our location, we could not fully get to our location with the car as we got to the end of the road. Therefore, we needed to walk for a good 15 min in the woods. But before entering we had a look around to see if we where going to trespass on someone’s property. There was a house on our left side far away but we did not see any signs of private property and decided to take our flash lights and head out into woods in the middle of the night.

THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN

As we walked deeper into the woods we found some pretty cool stuff, a pile of rock piled up like a pyramid, almost as if it was used to bury a dead animal, only there was no animal. This look fine until was started to hear noice and whispers. We decided to keep moving and ended up finding a toilet in the middle of the woods, a wood shed and an evaporator (looked like an evaporator to make maple syrup).

Once we got to that location, my cell phone lost our signal, gps was out and guess what? The noise was getting louder and closer. The noise was almost as a metal object was hitting agains another piece of metal, we also saw some shadows a few feet away from us and we started to feel followed and watched.

We started to walk faster and chills where running down our spins. We exited out of the woods in a different location then where we entered and we ended up exiting near the house that we have seen as we where driving to our location.

At the point we felt the stress leaving as we found our way back to the car. Arrived at the car, another situation occurred, we had a note on the vehicle saying “ Beware we see you!”. Now at that point we did not know what to do, if I was in the adventure alone I would have panicked but good thing I was not. We locked the car doors, looked around and started to think. We came to the conclusion that perhaps someone within the house that we pass did see us and decided to play games with us.

As we decided to leave, a blue truck drove by us, did a U turn and stoped in front on us and stayed there for a good 30 seconds before driving off.

At that point we did not know what to think, once the truck left we decided to leave and as I was driving a car started to follow us and turned on their high beams on and off.

After the third of fourth time I stoped the car and the vehicle behind us stop as well. I decided to take my camera and get out of the car to see who was driving behind us and what they wanted. As I exited out of the vehicle and walk to our “stalker” two pictures of me and my friend where taken by that other car and drove off quickly after.

I returned to the car and verified the camera but I did not capture the licence plate of the vehicle in question.

Return home

As we left we decided to take multiple roads in order to see if we where still being followed. We even stoped the car on the side of the street and see if there was another vehicle that would drive pass us.

After 30 minutes of driving around, we decided that it was time for us to head back to home. We still took different roads to my friends house as a precaution and I did the same to head back home and no other vehicle followed us back.

This was the most scary Randonautica Adventure that we had so far with the application. Now because of what happened, I have to change my thoughts about what I wrote in my first article.

Is the application dangerous? Does it willingly bring you to place that is surrounded by danger? The answer is no! Playing the game might be dangerous based on the locations where you sent as you never know who is out there and maybe watching you.Because of that, the game might turn side ways and scare the “hell” out of you.

Conclusion

Currently the servers for the game are down for maintenance, this means that we can not go out randonauting until the servers are back online.

Yes Randonautica is fun, yes you have to be carful in locations that you do not know and I would even suggest to bring a friend with you (the stronger the number).
