They Want You
I’m sitting in my living room when I hear it, laughing. The sounds of whispering and laughing. I get up and I go to investigate. I call Roy and grab his leash, “We are going for walk buddy,” I say gingerly. I see my flashlight and pick it up on my way out the door. We head towards the back of the house and there is nobody there, so we cover the whole front and back. Nobody. My land is huge and I have woods that go a few hundred feet back, but I never go in there. The woods have always been eerie. I have never really been fond of them and I always feel like I am being watched. I go to head back inside when I see a pile of rocks stacked in front of my door. “What’s this?” I wonder out loud. I don’t remember them being there when I left. I move the pile of rocks over with my foot and we go inside. I settled back into the couch with my dog.

Call to the Arms of the Outcasts
The morning started off normal in the household of the Proctors. Light seeped through the crack in the cloth blinds that hung over the windows. In the old room of the deceased parents lay the eldest son wrapped up in sheets. Down the hall in the children's room were the two youngest parts of the family, Samuel and Apryl Proctor. As the first person was to arise from the bed, Apryl, a creak rang through out the silent house. The patter of one person’s feet sounded as they made their way down the stairs. Apryl, being the sole female in the house hold took on the chores and tasks of being a woman. She cooked, cleaned and did all the other things that a wife was to do. Apryl was a bright female for her age, she learned things easily and did not complain. Her downfall was an apathetic personality.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'American Movie' (1999) and 'Coven' (1997)
I'm here to talk about something I actually found intensely inspiring. I should preface first by saying that I'm not a believer of the American dream. I do believe in hard work, but I know anyone who talks about their success without admitting to some luck, is a liar. Here's the thing, Mark Borchardt makes me believe, if only for a second, in the American dream. He was a nobody, some redneck in Wisconsin with a 8mm and a love of horror movies. He had no training, no direction, not even the internet as we know it. He had an imagination and heart.

What's in That Cave?
The woods were silent except for the few high-pitched chirps of the birds hidden among the tree tops. Sunlight glinted through openings in the tall oaks and birches, and floated down to the forest floor. In the distance something loomed mysteriously in the side of a small mountain, a cave with ferns that littered the ground around it. No one had been in the cavern for over 100 years and it was because of a 100-year-old mystery of a missing child.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Cult of Chucky' (2017)
Okay, I like this movie for two very important reasons. One, it respected the fact that Chucky is barely two feet tall and can't weigh more than 20 fucking pounds. He remained a stealth killer throughout the movie like the good old day, and never once managed to overpowered someone that he didn't get the drop on first. Second, they didn't spoon feed him any of his kills, which is important. In cannon, Chucky is supposed to be cunning and while cunning might be hard to write for a script, they didn't phone it the fuck in. The thought through Chucky’s plan, every logical move, made it smart, end executed it logically.

---------Continued from "A Minor Man", "A Minor Man (Part II)", and "A Minor Man (Part III)"------------ Max is dead now, Karen is using the pendulum over the map that Max had, and Simon gets up to go to Max's room. The door closes, Simon grabs the doorknob to open it but the door won't budge. Karen feels a headache coming but she's wondering something: How did Max know when to tell her to run?

Welcome Back the King and Queen
Stephen King was a name that used to strike fear into the hearts of many, especially with his first novel Carrie in 1974. The storyline was unlike anything written before, and within two short years, the movie version of Carrie was released. Since then, there has been a sequel, a TV movie, two musicals, and an upcoming remake movie, but none have ever compared to the original movie. The remake is said to stay closer to King’s original writings, but does that really matter to people in a movie theater or do they just want to see the blood and guts horror? Each time Carrie was remade, there were always murders of people for bullying a young girl, who was a little different. The original Carrie, Carrie 2: The Rage, and the 2013 remake, Carrie, all tell a similar story, which leaves people asking if there is a need to be remaking the movie.
