Germaine Street - Chapter Two
The four mask form Itsuki took when they hung around the house always weirded Darius out. It wasn’t that the Yōsei was incapable of taking more anthropomorphic shape but they were very disinclined to. Darius suspected it was because Itsuki knew how weird most other beings found it.

MAN MADE 2
In part 2 of Man made Low has successfully saved his people and the new light of his mind, he now walks with a scar on his chest carrying more than one heart. The world around him has become altered since merging with a demigod, Lilith who use to be the underground lord now has a new way of looking at life. It was as if she was looking through the eyes of her lover, they both have changed each other so deeply. They were better thinkers, but being better people comes with their actions in the world. With this new power Low could abuse it like his forefathers treated Lilith, but he remains in a level of maturity that hate is a concept that does not exist in him. Pain was a feeling he has grown numb to such as feelings and emotion, the only pleasure that pleases him was someone who he could share with. Freeing his mind from boredom and or doubts of if he belongs in this world. When Low and Lilith go back to the neighborhood we find that man has already taken advantage of his spoils of war. Low gave the four gangs the keys to Lilith's treasures through the pages he ripped out of the little black book, giving away the secrets inside. One gang the "Moose Heads"didn't make it, they all died from king mightiest’s gold which should have never been found. Lilith informs Low these aren't treasures these are the sins of man she had been trying to keep away. Another gang "Kush Kapital" the one Low is from has a different cursed treasure, by looking at it you become compelled to have it all. They also robbed her military arsenal taking very magical high grade weapons. They are currently the most powerful, they're power becomes stronger than their greed for more. "Demonville" became their own worst nightmare, they became the monster that lived inside each of them. The treasure they sought was non-existent; instead, it was a room of mirrors, there was nothing in the notes that talked about mirrors. When they looked inside it wasn't a reflection, but a demon fitting their personal sin. They now walk the earth not being able to hide the monster inside a human shell, everyone will see them for their flaws. The last gang was teleported forward in time making them non existent in this timeline. Low and Lilith try to fix the things that destroy this world, once again demons walk the earth. The earth is now a reflection of Lilith's mind, she doesn't know it but she still hasn't let go. She may have let Low in but she still sees men for the evil people they are. Believing the “want” to control everything is human nature, to convince them to think about their effect on the world is like asking them to change they're own lives. Lilith wants to kill them all, but Low asks if they should try something less sinister, they would end up destroying the whole world if they did this. He confronts a demon resembling the Minatour.

Wishes do come true.
This had been the worst week of Marty Underbridge’s life. He had been knocked down and kicked in the face more in the last few days than he had in his entire 40 years of life. He had come home Monday after a particularly busy day of work, he had told a record number of people that he couldn’t approve their loans, including an old woman who needed to purchase a proper grave stone for her deceased husband. He worked at a local credit union as a loan officer, recently the credit union had put a moratorium on personal loans due to “budgetary constraints and business shifts,” whatever that meant, greed most likely. He had arrived home Monday, dog-tired, wanting nothing more than to flip on the T.V. and zone out with a scotch in his hand. One of the few pleasures in his life was purchasing and savoring top-shelf scotch and whisky, he had a small collection in his office. The minute he walked in the door, however, he knew his day was going to get worse. He saw a suitcase, packed and ready, by the stairs. His wife came down from their bedroom and gave him a look of pure distain.

I Only Have Eyes for You
Would you like to go on an adventure? He struggled to wrap his brain around what he just saw. After quickly flipping through the small, black leather notebook, its pages clean and empty, he’d landed on the first page as the words materialized from nowhere, the curious red script almost indecipherable at first.

No Change to Spare
No Change to Spare “From what I remember of that night I took a cab home from LAX. It was a Tuesday.” I admitted. I continued to confess about the events of that day, of that night. It felt like it happened in another life and in another time. Sitting there for hours I poured over every detail in my head before letting it spill out of my mouth. I had the cabby drop me off around the corner from my apartment. I don’t know why but it’s something I always do. The weather was nice that night, cool and breezy. Maybe that’s why I liked to be dropped off a few doors away. I was only about a hundred yards from my front door when Casey surprised me from the shadows. For a twenty-six-year-old she dressed like a teenager but if anyone could pull it off it was her. She donned short shorts, a pair of white mismatched knee-high socks, one with two red stripes at the top and the other with one blue stripe. Some obscure band t-shirt that no one but her has ever heard of. The truth is, and she would fiercely deny this, she never really listened to them either. She cruised by on her roller skates, never roller-blades, always roller-skates, spinning around me making me dizzy. I tried to play it off as if she didn’t scare me but she knew that she had. And she knew that I knew that she knew. It was frustrating.

Fugue
A long time ago, I once heard that guilt is rooted in the actions of the past, perpetuated in the lack of action in the present, and delivered in the future as pain and suffering. Lately that quote’s been stuck in my mind for some reason. Even as I nurse my hangover on the cool lacquered surface of the bar’s counter I’m reciting the words to myself, but I can’t imagine what for.

An Evening at the Opry
Jackson Morris is, without a doubt, the most gifted guitar player to ever grace this Earth. He could even be considered the greatest musician to ever grace this Earth. In fact, you could argue that no one has ever been better at any one thing than Jackson is at playing the guitar.
